this is honestly one of the most immense, fantastic, overwhelming experiences a computer freak can enjoy.

if you want to feel special...find that missing thing in your life...buy a 28'' monitor. the "wow" factor is just carrying me away. it's unbelievable.

EDIT: note the toilet paper roll infront of the screen to illustrate how gigantic it is. the pictures are RUBBISH!!!! compared to seeing it IRL

edit: That's pretty awesome though. I got a 22 inch widescreen and I freaking LOVE IT TO DEATH. I can't imagine living without it now. I will always hate LCD monitors until they don't have that brightness 'angle' issue, but this is so much better than my 15-inch CRT I had before, haha.

maybe you should've gotten a 24" monitor so you could at least buy a decent camera so the pictures aren't garbage

but nevertheless i'll extrapolate from what i can (sort of?) see, and congratulate you on a nice (i think... so?) monitor

i have a 28" monitor for a while now, they much cheaper than the 30" but similar in size, at first it was pretty overwhelming but now i'm used to it, still mad cool.

once you get used to it, starcraft runs fine and other games like CS is much better, u can see enemy from far away clearly when you can't on a smaller screen.

I also have a projector so my entire wall in my room is a screen, now playing sc on that is pretty crazy. CS too, not to mention when ur high. oh and movies too.

28 has same native resolution as 24", 30" is the next one up with a higher native resolution, which is why they are so much more expensive.
