chapter one
OKAY MY FRIENDS LET ME ALL TELL YOU A STORY PASSED DOWN THROUGH MANY GENERATIONS. IT WAS NOT MY TIME, NOT YOUR TIME, BUT A TIME LONG AGO.
IN A REMOTE VILLAGE SLIGHTLY INLAND FROM A REMOTE COAST, THERE LIVED A GIRL. BUT THIS WAS NO AVERAGE GIRL. SHE WAS SHORTER THAN AVERAGE. BUT WHAT SHE LACKED IN HEIGHT, SHE MADE UP FOR IN WEIGHT. THESE ATTRIBUTES BESTOWED THE PRESTIGIOUS EPITHETS FAT AND MIDGET. THUS, THE GIRL WAS GIVEN THE NAME FIDGET. WHICH SHE DID ALOT TOO.
ONE DAY, FIDGET WAS TAKING HER MORNING WALK THROUGH THE REMOTE VILLAGE, WHEN SHE HAD THE SUDDEN IMPULSE TO TWITCH, AS FIDGET OFTEN DID. THIS FIDGET, HOWEVER, WAS THE MOST VIOLENT IN CENTURIES OF HER SPHERICAL BODY'S EXISTENCE. THE WAVES OF MOTION COMPOUNDED THROUGH HER MANY LAYERS OF RICH, THICK FLAB AND RESONATED THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE. IN AN INSTANT, THE SLIGHTLY INLAND VILLAGE WAS OBLITERATED. SHE NO LONGER HAD A PLACE TO LIVE, AND THE MANY WHO HAD WORSHIPED HER FOR HER CORPULENCE AND STUBBINESS HAD PERISHED. SHE HAD TO FIND A NEW HOME, A NEW VOTER BASE.
Thus began her epic quest.
