If it were something like an invasion from a physical enemy military presence, I'd try as hard as I could to evade and resist. As far as saving loved-ones goes, of course.

I'm pretty sure I could survive a zombie attack. After all, I've read the survival guide.

Well, to their credit, that does make sense. You'd presumably need a live specimin if you're gonna get a cure =p edit: and yeah, I always think SHIT what would I do if that's me? (Could be that I'll get totally baked and watch that, but I digress..) I live just a few minutes outside of NYC, so I was just thinkin like, man.... what if I was stuck in NYC while that shit went down, hah. The going back for a friend thing depends on a lot of things... who it is, what's the situation, etc.

About the end of the world? I'm not talking about 2012(?), I'm talking about 28 Weeks Later, Dawn of the Dead... hell, even Cloverfield. What do you think of these events? Are you planned for it? And are you willing to find a way to survive it somehow? ie. In Dawn of the Dead, everyone went inside a mall and stocked up on food and shit like that so they could burst forth and move on, etc. I'm just curious about when these things happen, and your friend is stranded on the other side of the state or whatever, would you try to save them? ie. Cloverfield. That made me lol. Its a little crazy imo to be concerned by such events. The odds are against it happening in my life time.

Nah, when my time comes, my time comes. Nuclear reaction? Oxygen mask, problem solved. Zombies? Who'd be scared of zombie when they're inside a giant metal ball! Bomb-throwing-fire-lighting-zombies? Roll faster! Hehehe~ Nah, if my life was a movie I'd be labeled as Young Man with Blue Jacket #2. I don't expect to live as my survival instincts are low...

+ Show Spoiler + No I don't prepare for 500 different random catastrophes that could one day happen; That's absurd. I'd do whatever I could to survive, but I'm not about to stock up on canned food and build a bunker just in case... I want to build a bunker just for fun though. I think I'd probably actually enjoy being in the aftermath of a catastrophe though... Having adventures with the rest of the survivors and becoming a hunter/gatherer society Much more appealing than this industrial age of bullshit and artificiality...
