So yea....this would be my first blog on this site.
BUT!
I think this deserves a blog...at least.
So yea...
Now, I have the urge to write something about how this is just me celebrating by myself, but you're here reading it, so that's kinda pointless. And this might just be me blowing my horn. *shrug*
But I got into the University of Alberta! =D
Now...are there any TLers in the U of A?
And I'm planning to get a labtop and my books and stuff, but any advice on University, or what I should get before I start? I'm a bit nervous for it, but I know at least a couple people each class, so I'm not afraid of forgetting paper and pen or anything like that...

Hey thats great congrats. Im not sure i know ppl at UoA but i guess the best advice i could give you is go do all the frosh stuff. Even if you already have friends just go make new ones.

ha, I actually lived on the campus a little bit this summer. Its a really beautiful school during the summer. Don't know anything about its programs, but everyone I talked to seemed to like the school.

We're probably gonna have a lan sometime in the first month of school. PM me your email and I'll let you know when it's happening.
Edit: and for the first day just bring something to write with and something to write on. Then just scout out what you need for each class depending on what the profs do and adapt accordingly.

And, I'll see about the lan. Might have to go find my cd for starcraft, I just mainly watch the korean scene now, haven't played in a couple years.
Oh, and nothing wrong with Edmonton in the winter, we get to do all the fun things in the snow... =D

Well one at the U, the CompE Club has been doing a semesterly one (I think it was semesterly). Hopefully now that I'm on the admin I could up that to like monthly or something. (Although I don't really know how much power VP Internal has in doing that sort of thing)
