Some people prefer not to post in every fucking thread and be here for a respectable time without even getting a warning. My post count isn't huge by any means, when I see people jump from 0-1000 in under a month because they post in every thread.

Post count should not mean as much as it fucking does. I for one am not a fan of dino, I know him he's not that bad of a guy, but I cannot deny the fact he hacked. But to ban people for the reason of we are talking about a hacker is just absurd. I for one am starting to get a little disgusted with some of the admin's power trips. I have been a member of this site since Tuesday, 11th of April 2006. Not once gotten a warning, yet i still have just over 1300 posts. Does that exclude me from being a veteran? There should honestly be more than post count to judge a person before being banned. If say for example Incontrol said the same things faust said he would not have been banned.

The thing is everyone is trying to state an opinion and in one case I watched a guy support his opinion and then eventually give up on it and still get banned. Why? He choose to throw his opinion away. Now I see people getting banned for voicing their own opinions.

The admin's have a job to do yes, but banning people because they do not like that persons opinion? Maybe the staff needs a little more unity, maybe a little more staff opinion, maybe a revamp of the ban policy I do not know. I am sure that they have a policy they keep out of the publics eye.

Who cares what you deem it. The fact of the matter is, hackers are cancer in this society. People who support hackers support hacking. Supporting cancer is fucking stupid. Similarly, supporting hacking is stupid and damaging to the community. Because of people like you and other "fans" (I don't understand how you can be a fan of something that is achieved through cheating, unless you are a douchebag) of Dino, hackers think that what they are doing is more or less okay since there are people who will support them anyways, right? Well, fuck that.

I agree with TL's policy on hackers, and supporters of hackers. Purging the idiots and cheaters out of a gaming community is essential.

Upon going over the Commandments over again, Hot_Bid reserves the right to be unfair however I still feel it unnecessary. It's not a giant terrorism scheme. However unfair it is, it's still legit.

In general you would be right, it is not my place to judge another's opinion. It is the moderators' jobs to do that. A person who is stubborn in voicing an opinion that is widely seen as stupid or inflammatory will get punished. If I were to go down the street yelling "KILL THE JEWS, THEY ARE THE DOWNFALL OF THIS COUNTRY!" it is just me voicing my opinion, right? Who can judge me for it? Unfortunately it is a stupid opinion, and is punishable.

However, this is not even a general case. It is very clear that hackers deserve to be banned. I think you agree with me on this. If hackers are banned, but people are still supporting hackers, aren't they damaging the community as much as the hackers are? Just because they didn't install and run the program themselves, they still support the same idea that cheating is okay, and possibly that hackers shouldn't be punished for what they've done. Voicing this pro-hacker opinion on an anti-hacker gaming website and starting arguments over it is just as stupid as walking down the street in America spewing hateful slurs that undermine the nation's principles of equality.

I didn't see faust supporting him, yet he got banned. What I seen was he was supporting he was a overall skilled gamer who performed decently at a live event.

It's the fact that most of the moderators of this forum should probably put a little more into what should be a ban and what shouldn't. Members who have super high post counts should not have diplomatic immunity. Sure they will always get more lee-way than a person who has less than 1000 posts but should also factor in time as well.

Of course freedom of speech has it's limits and the moderators are here to keep that in line and we don't want a super polluted forum. If a person is damaging the community and actually fully supporting it sure fine by me. If they are just voicing a opinion that goes against the majority, that should never ever be a ban unless it is just plain stupid.

Dino won't be someone accepted into the community very quickly, but he shows he can still compete well with some of the higher end USA gamers without the use of hacks. I don't support the way Dino competes or people who worship him, but I am still able to see that people change. There are two good example of this in Testie and Trek, sure I wasn't around when they hacked but I know about most of the situation. Maybe Dino's willing to change, maybe not.

Just power-trips need to stop.
