save in notepad as fix_office_permissions.cmd
double click the newly created file and allow to run (took about
5-10 mins on my system)

After doing the above actions ( which fixed my one-note and ms-word) [ I'm on Vista w/ Ms-office-2007 btw ]
When i attempt to open Ms-powerpoint, I get this message.
[Powerpnt.exe - unable to locate compononent]
This application has failed to start because msvcr80.dll was not found.
What I'm confused about is, I haven't touched my ms-office folder, so how can a .dll suddenly go missing?
But more importantly, how do I fix it since I have a slide-show I need to make by next week...
