I've been checking out the top ladder players of ICCUP.
Well 1on1 as usually full of koreans. but 2on2 seems to be more country balanced.

1# ranked player atm is "Yan". Yan ICCUP Profile I heard of him sometimes. He should be korean player(?)But why he has a canadian flag? He works/lives there?

While searching informations I found a russian yan guy sup?
MYM.yAn interview.And really found nothing interesting oo;

So you know anything about him? Name, picture, any interviews or smth?!

Ukrainian/Russian player. Where the hell have you been? Look up news on mymym or gosugamers.net on him.

He's been around for ages.

Yan from ukraine =/= the 2v2'er Yan.
He's somewhat Canadian or such, I don't know too much about him, except that he's been in FT.aCt and some other crap ass west teams.
But he seems to be pretty damn good obviously.

Ok first of all showtime is partly right.

mYm.yAn aka yAn[S2] was the best ukrainian terran sometime ago, basically he was the best player there.

When Yan the canadian is considered to be one of the best 2v2 players around I can't recall now if it was him or LJT who got A+ in both 1v1 and 2v2 @ PGT.

Conclusion they are 2 different yans. And btw the second one is korean living in Canada prolly studying.

I'm Canadian and never heard of him, wow.

He must be studying abroad. Flags can be so misleading.

In conclusion you won't find any information on this guy anywhere man unless it is directly from ICCUP or people here.

Y, I ment the "Canadian" yan, not the russian/ukrainian.

And there's really nothing about him.. I remind an interview which was released in Iccup forums, but seems to be deleted since the design change came.
maybe he has some friends here who can tell us something about him?! or links smth ..oo?

Isn't Yan the Canadian really BM or something? Just something I heard.. I don't want to dislike him without knowing him or knowing if he is a dick or not but does anyone know this? :p

Yan is one of the best ICCUP 2v2 players, I think he has achieved A+ just about every season.
There was a acouple interviews with him on the ICCUP forum at one time but I just checked and wasnt able to find it.

I've talked to him on iccup before and he is pretty bm. He told his teammate (Who was like A-) that he sucked at bw and was a useless partner
then the guy quit playing

Yan is probably the best 2v2 player outside of Korea right now, last season he had one account Ft.ACt(yan and Yan both of which had spots in the top 5 for 2v2.
