So there was driving down Germantown road when I see these 4-5 little kids walking down the road against traffic. It being rush hour and the street being a major intersection traffic was heavy. So what do these little fuckers do, they throw a tire out into the middle of the road which almost causes a pile up. I had to swerve into the middle lane and back into the right lane to avoid hitting two other cars while the tire bounced across the fucking road causing others cars to do the same. Too bad I didn't know the number for the Memphis Police.

BEAT YOUR GOD DAMN KIDS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS OUT OF THEIR CAR AND DOES YOUR JOB FOR YOU!

should've just swerved around the tire and clipped them with the side of your car (well not really... but maybe just close enough to scare em' a bit)

I think you can raise your kids without beating them (ie I would have never even considered doing something this retarded at ANY age).

That being said, I fully support these kids getting beat up

My mom works as a teacher and she and her co-workers say that the kids that get beaten at home behave the worst in school. I guess beating wont solve bad parenting.

These kids should seriously get their asses kicked tho.

Beating kids is an effective tool for parents with poor skills. lets just leave it at that.

It works but is also a double edge sword.

Beating kids is terrible for the children.

You only teach them violence. They will learn that you make other people do what you want by inflicting pain. And that it is an ok thing to do (if nothing else works).

All expects agree very strongly on this.

The fear of beating is worse then the actual beating, so you don't have to constantly beat your kids, threaten them a little.

He's right. You have to beat the kids with a double-edged sword.

Yes beating is bad. Just punish them differently, e.g. by grounding them or not allowing them TV/comp/console for a day. And no punishment is just as bad as beating (instead of learning to "solve" a lot through violence, they'll learn that they can get away with a lot).

Btw: Germantown, what the hell is that. I smell something stupid. :>

asian parents beat their kids all the time and the culture supports it. Lets just also point out that asian kids are generally better at school than american kid that were raised with different standard.

I agree that the kids more than likely need better parenting, but it's jumping to conclusions to say that they should be beaten.

I don't know if it's actually because of the beatings that they do better though.

depends where you hit them. if you do it right you can just make them lose, oh idk like a pint of blood. that will teach them.
