In all seriousness, porn / masturbation has absolutely 0 effect on relationships unless... I think that's a bit naive. Imagine your girlfriend looks at naked guys who are not you and masturbates to them. Suddenly that's not really that cool. Unless, I don't know, you're into that kinda thing... While you may think "I don't care if my girlfriend looks at porn, in fact, I think that's pretty cool and liberating," once you rephrase it as "I don't care if my girlfriend looks at other naked guys and masturbates, in fact, I think that's pretty cool and liberating" you see it's almost a matter of semantics on whether or not you feel totally comfortable with it. It's kinda like guys who fantasize about a threesome... Well would it be so cool if the third person was another guy using your girl? lol | ||

Inexperience is not a cause to stop, though, so long as you know as you're watching porn that you can still say that you know this isn't how it really is. It's just hot images and sounds, providing stimulation for you in the same way as a movie or book. It's not real, never will be, but you enjoy what it does for you. Now, giving it up because you don't wanna do it anymore is perfectly fine. Just quit, then. If you seriously need advice, go outside more, find more things to do, especially with other people. Keep yourself busy or stop hanging out by yourself so often. With that said, it is annoying to say that you need help doing it - if you're consistently going back to it, it means you want to do it still, but are being told by others that you shouldn't want it in the first place. To which I say, live your own life, though it is doubtful that one would in such a situation, because not having the willpower to stop most probably means you don't have the willpower to go against your current peers. | ||
