This is my first ever blog and I've come to you guys with questions, which I hope isn't a sin for a first blog here at tl.net =/
Here's the replay of the most recent match I played on iCCup. Replay TvP
In the replay above I'm Fulcrum_Ks
At the time I was D-, and this guy was a high D rank (1800 ish). I think the only reason I won is because instead of going for a one fact FE or two fact build I used a one fact one port build, which you hardly see nowadays in TvP I think. So I was wondering:
1. Ok so I was D- at the time, and I beat a guy who on paper is technically significant. Do you think there's any upside for me to better, putting attitude and mindset aside?
2. Yet I had to use a non-common build to win. Even then, do you guys think it's still worth me trying to improve to at least become D+?

you won at the start, already, even though his macro was so much better than urs you still outmacro'd
And pertaining to macro.. all this little micro stuff at the start will be deflected with ease, on higher level plays
Therefore the real game is macro/ multitasking macro/micro
..which.. you lack, but just practice, i don't suggest doing these type of builds if you want to get better though

I don't see what's so bad about a tank drop. If successful it can hold a very positive outcome. Since it isn't commonly used it's a good style to know.

reminds me of the dreiven v brat game in the tsl where he went mega quick drop, droped one tank seiged and took out all his probes in one hit lol
