No, really this time. I no longer live with my mother. She finally lost it on me.
I basically got offered a really sweet job that may or may not (read: may) involve some potential danger. She started making threats (no exaggeration), and so I said I was leaving for the night.
She didn't think I was serious, but I was, and on my way out the door, she told me to take everything and never come back.
I'm not really sure how to feel. On one hand, I'm better off: My mother is clearly (you guys don't have all of the information) crazy, and I doubt it's a good environment for me to have been living in.
But on the other hand, her pattern of decision making is only going to hurt her. That's not my fault, of course, but still.
Oh well; I know I'm better off at my dad's.

One of my best friends from my past was visiting my house from another state and had his 18th birthday here at my house a few years ago. About a week before he was to return home, his mother called and said that he could no longer live at their house. He had no job, no real pals back home, and was even still attending school there, with one more year to finish. He was lucky enough to have a former (the fourth of a total of five so far) step-father take him in until he finished school and got a job to support himself.
So, it's not entirely unheard of, though that makes it no less unusual.
O, I would like to know about the dangers possibly involved as well. :p

So maybe I'll get shot by an angry trucker, or maybe stabbed by some moron on the interstate, or maybe I'll get my ass kicked by a statey.

I hate your posts, but that's just a forum persona. Gl yo, not an easy place to be.

if you see an angry trucker, just run. So what if you lose your job, when you explain to your next employer that you have common sense, you will probably have a better chance of being hired ;P
btw, I'm not sure if that job is worth losing your mom for >_<

sounds like a chill job, get plenty quaters and abuse vending machines yes :D

Besides, there's 21 years worth of backstory I can't put in a blog that you don't know about.
