English commentating

After viewing the TSL finals, I realized that when the commentating is done in english ( as opposed to msl/osl), watching SC is MUCH more fun and exciting. I feel like when watching the korean matches I am limited by the korean commentators. I have a suggestion but I'm not sure if it could work... Is there anyway to have the msl/osl streamed with english commentators? E.g. redirect the stream and have Chill/Artosis cast the games?

Anyone else think this is a good suggestion?

commentating is very time consuming, so i don't know if they'll have the time to do that. but, if someone wants to take that challenge, it'll be very nice. but for now, we don't have much of a choice. i do agree that it's better to watch with English commentary. I guess you could watch GOMTV's tournament, since it has English commentary on Korean matches.

That would take some serious dedication, time and resources, because of the time the live games are played and the resources the stream would need. Of course it would be great as a monthly thing or something if possible :D

hmm I have no problems understanding the korean commentators...

seriously though, it's up to chill/artosis and whoever else but I would think it takes way too much effort on their part to do it often. maybe for special matches like TSL but not for regular season games.

you can ask those guys at sc2gg if the commentators are interested in doing it. they have a really active commentating community.

well could it at least be done for finals/ semifinals of OSL/ MSL?

With that case it would only be a once in a while thing and it would make the games alot more exciting.

if you're sufficiently practiced at starcraft, your own internal commentary should make watching the great game of starcraft very fulfilling. i think that my friends very much enjoy watching starcraft so long as i am commentating, although they do not really enjoy or understand the game. if you yourself do not understand the game then i guess you're in a similar situation to my friends. but don't misunderstand me, when i refer to 'understanding starcraft,' i'm referring to a very exacting sort of understanding of all the game's intricacies.
