Dear TL,
I have a situation involving girls. Obviously.
This situation, however, is a tad different.
2 months from now is our school prom. Now, I was planning on asking out this nice cute girl that isn’t dating anybody and we’re acquainted pretty well. She also doesn’t do substances, and is decently smart, which is a plus.
Just 3 hours ago, this pretty hot chick (who’s also very, very smart) messaged me (basically I’m the school shrink) and she made this huge hint that she would like me to go with her.
The problem is, she’s really aggressive and dominant. And I’m not that kind of person.
What should I do, TL? What would you do, TL?

honestly, you're not going to meet your wife in high school, go with the psycho and enjoy the ride!! Get on with enjoying doing crazy stuff, don't worry if it doesn't work out.
You can save making sensible choices until you have a mortgage or some responsibility!

Flip a coin. Tails = Hot girl, Heads = Cute girl. Plus, just because you go with one girl doesn't mean you don't get to know the other girls at prom. So go with the one you want to know the most. Happy times yo~

Failing in that, take whoever you like more since the OP made no mention of your feelings of either girl.

But srsly: say you'll take both, and go with whichever one is still lined up the day of. INSURANCE POLICY. If they both are ready, then uh, tell one of them it was a clerical error, and don't take them.

Actually, many people do. I know at least two couples who have been together since high school. But then again, they are not going to get divorced in two years, so maybe they don't count.
But, of course, since you are wondering about whom to pick, you'll just have to go with your gut feeling. I'm not sure what psycho's got on cute-girl, but I have never in my life talked to and/or seen any of them, so I'm not really qualified to give any advice.

a) the worst part is, i have yet another female friend who is dating someone else, and she apms at 325 while playing sc O.O
she doesnt know how to macro or micro though so meh
b) we have a very diverse crowd lol. I guess i should make things a bit more detailed
1. the "cute" girl
she's shorter than i am, and does track, i don't believe she's dating, she listens to soft rock music/crap, decently intelligent, but very wellmannered and stuff. the cons are she's part of a mother hen crowd despite the fact she doesnt do any drugs or drink. I think she's going to Colgate.
2. the "hot" girl
she's not really psycho. just really, really, aggressive. she dated one of my friends at one point and they broke up, and its been pretty awkward ever since. But she is doing very well at school and may end up at MIT. She does tend to drink a lot though.
and i will live with scc till the end of my days.

Uh.. I wouldn't go with the people who are saying "hot girl, way more fun."
That's what they (and someone who likes partying it up and rocking out) might choose, but you sound like.. that's really not your style. Between this post and the last one, you sound like you're coming from a pretty conservative, somewhat strict family and hot crazy girl to have lots of hot crazy sex with is really not what you're after.
I'd go for cute, "no substances" girl in your place.

I'd say the hot girl by a mile. Then you could just start hanging casually with that cute girl, or at least try to, after the prom, as it is to have fun. Unless you actually have problems with partying with drinking girls, don't drink at all yourself etc. Then go with the cutie ^_^

Cute girl. More likely that you'll have a good time with the cute girl because you won't feel as pressured. You won't feel like you need to impress the cute girl as much as you would for the hot one.
Besides, the hot aggressive one sounds kinda bitchy, which is never much fun to spend time around.

But the cute girl can't be something like a guitar playing albino or conjoined twins, she has to be truly hideous with stuff like paint stains on her overalls and her hair in a pony tail.
I gotta say, teen movies from the 80s and early 90s were way better than the stuff we grew up with.

I'd go with the cute girl. Go to prom to have fun and she is the one that it seems like you would have the most fun with. Though you can always ask the other if the first one can't go with you.

Go with the one you like more, or think you'll like more. Keep in mind, being with someone beautiful can really suck if you don't really like each other or have chemistry. Sounds like both are attractive physically, even if one is more so than the other, but one seems more your style than the other. Looks are certainly important, but absolutely not everything. It all comes down to chemistry, man. Chemistry with a cute woman is infinitely better than "just getting along" with a gorgeous woman.
I prefer mellow women as well. I think it is awesome that you have an idea what you want at your age. Go with it and learn from it.
Just because you are young and whatever relationship you have is not likely to work out long term does not mean you should throw out all your criteria. Always make the best choice you can regardless of the situation.
Sounds like cute girl to me.
