Hello teamliquid. I am here to introduce myself to all of you. I have been away from the internet for about 8 or 9 months now, and away from Starcraft for over a year. I left Starcraft because I had to concentrate on looking for a job in order to support my family. A few months later we were unable to continue to pay our internet bill, and it was shut off.
Circumstances have changed recently and I will have internet again soon (my boyfriend is paying for it) and am rather excited about this blog section in TL. I think I'll have fun using it. So here goes.

I started playing Starcraft when I was 14, and I've been hooked ever since. I've never really played any other online games besides Starcraft because to me, nothing compares, and I have a great love for this game that has been a big part of a good portion of my life.
I do have a few other hobbies.
I like to read, mostly fantasy, sci-fi, and thrillers. My favorite book is "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett.
I like to draw and use photoshop for my art. I'm not that great with PS, but I try. I go on a site that a few of you probably know about, which is called gaiaonline.com. I do avatar art for 'gaia gold' and can probably safely say that my art is in very high demand and I make a small fortune from it. My account on gaia is 'Synonymous'.
I went to college for a couple years at a local community college, and at first had the plan of majoring in computer science. I changed it to Japanese language. I have a fascination with other languages and cultures, especially asian ones. If I ever succeed in becoming fluent in Japanese (which is a lot harder than I thought it'd be) I would like to also learn Chinese and Korean. I can speak, read and write Japanese at probably a low intermediate level.
I am obsessed with music, and I mostly like rock. I know that's broad, but I was never good at classifying music. Most of the music I like is Japanese, as is my favorite band, L'Arc~en~Ciel. I also like progressive rock bands like Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Rush, and Camel.
I know that if I type too much, no one will read this, so I'll just end by saying I hope to work up to a semi-decent rank on ICCup, and I'm taking up any offers if anyone wants to help train my zerg. I really need it. This time around I am going to try some new approaches to my training because I never got very far in the past and progressed very slowly.

intrigue: I missed the Otakon too, because I didn't know about them at the time. I was fortunate enough to see HYDE during his Faith tour in San Fransisco, though.

My friend has a few of them, I will try to contact him ASAP to confirm it. Sorry in advance if it's not you, I was quick to judge, but I swear I've seen that picture around 2-3 years ago under someone else's name, and they've since turned out to be a fake. It's not girls on the internet paranoia, just previous experience.

Haha. That's great. I am mostly just interested in learning other languages since I would like to be a translator/interpreter. Japanese just seemed the obvious first choice because of the music I listen to. And yes, X Japan is awesome.
