Though lilsusie's experience may far surpass ours. After all, she got to watch live sitting with a little more than 7000 fans, we got to watch live with a little more than seven. While she got to watch on a fifty foot screen, ours was only that in inches. She got backstage access, we had access to a back room. Never mind that we happen to have an ocean between us and the finals in Korea or that less than half of us here speak the language. We enjoyed the finals plenty.
Most people started to show up just before or sometime during the last MSL Survivor group. As the final qualifying group to the next MSL was over the 1v1's commenced. Well, actually they commenced during the loser's match.
Speaking of which, there is a Starcraft LAN next weekend in Garden Grove. Check out the SoCal Starcraft Players! thread for details or shoot a PM to the guy in white headphones (Quesadilla)
And whats a party without food and drinks?! Well that wouldn't be much of a party. We were graced with too much (there can never be too much) beer, soju, chips, and a smoked turkey that no one would touch until I proved it was safe by eating some myself. I had actually gotten the turkey as a gift at my work by mail from Texas, so even I was a little wary. I worked up enough courage to try some and it tasted soooo good. Though none of us knew how to carve a turkey properly, so it ended up looking like this:
The finals came, and we had fans for both Stork and Jaedong to win, as well as fans for either to win and fans for neither to win. As always I hope everyone had fun, I know I did. be sure to come next time if your somewhere near San Diego. Though there won't be another finals for about three months we will probably set up a San Diego LAN or a karaoke party or something like that.

Mad props to everyone who attended, especially semioldguy for taking the time and effort into this event. Oh and can someone give me AceTV contact so I can play him sometimes? Thanks, <3
