EPTThe phone call is supposed to be from a potential employer.
So there I was...chillin and watching T.V. I never watch T.V. unless I am unbelievably bored. I had been waiting for this phone call for a few hours. It was getting late in the afternoon, but I was sure they would call before the work day ended.
Suddenly (and goddamn, do I mean suddenly), I had to shit like you wouldn't believe. I won't get into details, because that isn't necessary, and you guys sure as hell don't want to hear about it. But telling you this part is necessary. I had to shit...really bad.
I leave my dorm room. The bathroom is right across from my room. I'm on the toilet...then I hear it.
The goddamn phone is ringing.
I can't believe this, I think. After waiting all day, they call now...
By the time I finish, the phone has stopped ringing. My phone's caller I.D. doesn't work in the dorm. And you know what sucks even more? I can't call the place to see if it was them because it's long distance, and dorm phones here can't call long distance.
Today is Monday. They didn't call over the weekend, and it doesn't look like they're calling today either. Was it them? Maybe yes, maybe no. Looks like I'm waiting again.
Well damn...
