I want to give y'all a little update on my last blog 6 years after retirement which I posted almost 4 years ago when I was struggling with my education in the United States.
Fortunately, I was able to get my life together and manage to graduate from college. After that, I served in the Korean military for 2 years which I had been postponing for so long and I "SURVIVED" it. I got discharged in May this year and lucky, I was able to get my second job(progamer still counts as a job
) as a QA(Quality Assurance) in a pharmaceutical company.Ever since I retired from being a Starcraft player, my life has turned into something full of adversities and challenges. Of course, I have learned a lot from overcoming those but the most difficult thing for me was to find something that I can truly be passionate about like E-sports.
I admit that I was very lucky to become a Starcraft player and I was blessed that I possessed the right skill sets to become a competitive player. And I'm even more thankful that everything worked out quite perfectly for me after retirement.
