The Twins
By GTR-2-Go

Can you tell the difference? Well to be honest, I can't.

When these two first burst onto the scene in early 2005, big things were expected from them. They were identical twins, recruited onto the same pro team, with alot of talent. KOR (now OGN Sparkyz) had the intent of turning them into the main Zerg players for their team. Veteran Zerg's like Side would get their well-deserved retirement while aspiring Zerg's like Max who had initial talent, were transfered to other teams.

Waiting together like true brothers.

Both players have performed extremely well in both individual and teamleague matches. Let's take a look at their statistics.
+ Show Spoiler [Park Myung-Soo (Yarnc)] +
Yellow[ArnC]
All: 50-46 (52.08%)
vT: 23-17 (57.50%)
vZ: 16-17 (48.48%)
vP: 11-12 (47.83%)
+ Show Spoiler [Park Chan-Soo (Luxury)] +
Luxury[GsP]
All: 38-27 (58.46%)
vT: 13-9 (59.09%)
vZ: 16-10 (61.54%)
vP: 9-8 (52.94%)

As you can see, Luxury is statistically the better brother, with a 6.38% increase on his Overall Record. The only thing that hurts both brothers, is their Zerg vs Protoss play. It is not very impressive nor dynamic. But this now I will talk about their main strength.

Eating makes our muta micro uber~!

That's right, their breathtaking agressive Mutalisk control. It is dynamic, explosive and that damaging to you, that you can lose a game by just pure mutalisks. Many Zerg Progamers, for example, Jaedong, have taken on the "Muta-Micro-Win" trend. Jaedong used this against Sea[Shield] where he would non-stop harass for over 10 minutes. The harass did so much damage that Sea could not come back into the game. Yarnc is the main person to be renowned for his mutalisk control, his most notable game against iloveoov on Hitchhiker during the Shinhan 2006 Season 3 OSL. To directly quote Hot_Bid.

There are those games that Muta harass does nothing, and then there are games like this one. Yarnc almost loses when oov stims a small group of marines past his sunkens, but ends the threat with a few Mutas. What came next can only be described as the most brutal Muta harass ever recorded in OSL history. Yarnc flew his Mutas around oov’s main and natural for four and a half minutes, harassing until his Lurkers were done morphing and ready to crush oov’s expansion. When the harass was over, Yarnc had killed 18 Marines, 2 Medics, 11 Turrets, and 31 SCVs. Yes, that’s over 3500 minerals worth of dead stuff, not even including the lost mining time for those SCVs.

But what about Luxury? I find that his Zerg vs Zerg is the best out there. His smart knowledge of timing and strategies are very valuable in his mirror match games. The way that he manages to sneak Zerglings to kill drones, the way he handles his Mutalisks to avoid those pesky Scourge. Is it because of his brother, Yarnc, and the mass training they did against eachother?

Regardless, despite not achieving anything major individually, both of these players have already made huge craters in pro-gaming, teamleague wise. Hopefully, both Yarnc and Luxury will be majorly sucessful in future Starleagues in years to come, and the final of them playing eachother would be a dream.

Nice read. It's interesting how Yarnc as only a 52% win ratio in his career, considering he had one of the most points for a non-champion for Shinhan Pre-Masters. Hm, I guess that+ Show Spoiler +
left is luxury, right is yarnc? (in top pictures)

Can someone say who's who? Thanks.

Yeah, Yarnc has been insane in PL this season - just insane.

8-1 solo, 10-3 2v2. Would be great to see these guys break out in the individual leagues, and I think it's definitely due.

Man it would be so much cooler if they could work as a 2v2 tandem, maybe one should go random and pray to god they both get zerg haha.
