Eight years has have passed since I quit BW, around that time I also stopped producing music .
Perhaps I played some with you or maybe you heard some of my songs which I posted here.
....And sometimes you find your way back to the things you love after a long break.
I recently started to playing StarCraft again and I'm grinding my way back to my old skill level (I wasn't by any means pro just your average B rank ICCup Terran).
My goal is just to improve and have fun. I'm still feeling a bit slow (around 180-220 APM compared to my 250-280 APM back when I was active) maybe it's because of the age.
I miss the days when I was in a active team where you had a lot of friends that you could practice with, the last team I was in was a korean (also with foreigners) team on west called [InCa], don't know if we have any old members from there here on TL whom remember me?
I can't really remember much from that period, apparently I'm turning senile now as well haha.
Anyway, so I also started making music again, making music is kind of like riding a bicycle, you never forget how to do it, compared to beeing good at a RTS game like Starcraft - which you have to maintain your self in some kind of shape I feel like.
I actually completed a song after this long break, I tried to put some effort in it but not too much, I was mainly looking to finish a project just to "get back on the horse" or how to say, My next song will be a bit more refined with mastering, buildup and progression.

It's basic trance stuff which I toyed around with vocals (my first vocal track), Maybe my next track will be a complete vocal track with a bit more lyrics, these are like 4 lines (2 sentences) lol. For those wondering it's my girlfriend who lent her voice for this one

If you played with [InCa] and were active on west 8 years ago I'm sure we bumped into each other I was in a lot of teams around those parts of BW before finding home (NrG). I actually just got back into playing a couple of days ago in order to play in + Show Spoiler +https://tl.net/forum/bw-tournaments/558287-happy-rvr-only-tournament

Haha i was hardstuck like, real hardstuck in B. But in SC2 i managed to get grand master but that game is basically tetris compared to BW , I feel more proud of my B rank in BW compared to GM in SC2.

Yeah i have been watching some ASL imo meta has not changed that drastically but yeah a bit .
I'm like 1600-1700 ish atm quite bad!

I don't think I played 1v1 BW since... 2014?
But recently, I've been watching BW streams (Artosis, Tasteless), watching ASL on youtube, and a bunch of youtube videos of Korean Pros.
Man, my love for this game has been rekindled, and I'm going to play some this Summer for sure.
I was never good (D+ at best in 2011 ICCUP), but it's funny how I'm not the only one who is itching to play again all of a sudden.

Apparently TvT has changed a lot by Brood War standards because Flash kept driving other Terrans to innovate. I also see a lot more Valkyries in pro games than I used to.
