I had similar feelings when i watched Game 1 in that series.

I completely agree. That was the most frustrating game ever. Savior TT TT TT.
It had to happen eventually but I wish it had happened to a more classy player than this. FBH is the epitome of lame terrans.

fbh, the epitome of lame terrans? no way, it was a deserved win.
quite a few people have been pointing out fbh as a potential dark horse; he's clearly lived up to his billing here by playing really well lately. you can't expect every game to be a ballsy affair. a player must do anything to win, so too bad if fbh had to use the 'gay' card. savior had him in game 1, but he seemed complacent (preoccupied with infesting cc's, not finishing off fbh's main) and allowed fbh to lift his base across the map. -_- i found savior's inability to kill the game off more frustrating than the turtling on display.
i see his elimination as a sort of win-win situation. the fanboys should hope their star treats the loss as a kick up the arse to play better (savior would be much more motivated to win his set vs iris in the osl), and the neutrals/antis celebrate an underdog victory.
oh and btw, i hope gorush defeats bisu cos that FE to corsair + dt combo is getting old and is not as entertaining to watch anymore.

Why the fuck don't tanks shoot air? Huh? And that annoying bug when tanks can't fire when a unit comes close to them?? Has nobody noticed that yet?? Hope 1.16 fixes those issues...

mani is the first person i've seen who gets it.
savior was so retarded after FBH moved bases, he didn't adapt to FBH's play at all, he didn't know what to do besides what he always does, little drops and attacks that kill expos did absolutely nothing but help FBH's win more certain. while BCs+vessels+tanks+medics is probably the strongest force terran can make vs zerg, it's not unstoppable, and savior should have simply massed up a giant army and tried to kill FBH in one blow. (perhaps TONS of hydras a few defilers, a few ultralisks on the tanks and some devourers for acid spore'd BCs)
then in game 5, his play is so predictable and unable to adapt to almost nothing besides a fast expo, which he doesnt even check for with his overlord. he just assumes? wtf honestly
Savior deserved to lose for playing so stupid, he couldn't adapt to Bisu's play last MSL finals and he couldnt do it this quarterfinal.
FBH played very intelligently and deserved this win

That first game was weird though. Those mass tanks saved his ass.
I thought sAviOr should have made infested terrans. If he knew that dance was coming, he would have.
They would have been a smart thing to do as well since the terran was sitting behind a wall of facts and tanks guarding, just send a lot of infested terrans to blow those facts up. Or drop them on the tanks.

fbh was pretty gay in first game, but he did have to do to win, so you can't really blame him too much for that...
but i do mourn the loss of our maestro from the msl

I can agree with this. When your opponent has his entire army massed in one spot, if you do a small attack, you'll just lose the entire attack force and do very little damage.
FBH gave Savior all the time in the world to prepare, plan, and execute an attack, yet all Savior did was repeatedly drop with a *FEW* overlords or run in a few ultralisks, all to be slaughtered. He needed to do something en masse, especially with dark swarm. Once terran has an area with cliffs around, both antiair and siege tanks, it's very hard to get close.

For someone who's seen Savior rape terrans over and over again, I must say that Game 1 and 3 of that series were mind-blowingly awesome. I think I actually said "Holy shit!" out loud several times during Game 1.

why savior didnt just get like 3-4 sets of 3-3 ugpraded hydras (or as far as he can go w/ ups) along with 2-3 defilers, 3-4 ultras (that he already had created), and 6 or so devourers, i wont ever know. if he dropped all that in the main, with ultra/hydra/swarm and acid spore compounding much more damage on all those clumped BCs.. that would have been his best chance to win.
instead he throws units away when he cant afford to desperately trying to kill/infest his expos?
