Yes, I'm writing this at 2 in the morning. My sleep schedule has been really messed up lately.
Hey guys. I know I haven't been writing, and I know I keep saying that I'll come back, but I haven't, and that's 100% my fault. To be fair, though, there's some major life stuff that's happened that interfered with it.
I graduated high school on June 19th. If I'm being honest, I just wanted to get out, and admittedly, my high school experience could've been a lot better. But if there's one thing that high school gave me, it's the FGC. I know those two things don't often go together, but in my freshman year I saw a few people playing Smash on their 3DS's at their lunch tables. I wanted to get into that, after not having played the series, and then got into the competitive scene, while also branching out into other fighters. If any of my Smash friends happen to be reading this, you mean the world to me and I'm infinitely grateful for you. <3
I'll also be attending college in Massachusetts in the fall to study game design. Ideally, I'd like to make either a fighting game (I want to give back to the scene in a way) or an RPG (I've been playing a lot of PokeMMO lately).
I got a new phone too! It's the Google Pixel 2, which I enjoy a lot more than my old Iphone because it's a lot more customizable, and the battery life lasts a lot longer which is great.
So since I decided that I didn't wanna be doing nothing all summer, I've been on the job hunt. It hasn't really been working out that well (nobody wants a 17-year-old when they could take a college graduate), but hopefully I can make things work. At the moment, I'm planning on saving up for a new computer, which I'll need for college, and to attend Shine 2019, which I mentioned going to a few years ago. Now that I think about it, it's really crazy to me that it's been 2 years since I attended my first Shine. I had a lot of fun the 2 years I went, and I'm sure this year's gonna be better!
Thanks for reading everyone.
