Well, we made it back on to top 100 techies. The match that i had to play to break back into that leaderboard included a chaos knight who had a 6 minute midas, then broke all his stuff, then fed the enemy kills and wards as they were breaching highground, then i snatched aegis, and we eventually won the match. I should probably upload a clip of it since i streamed the whole thing but i'm having an issue with the video file being accepted by twitch (mp4 wtf??).
Anyways the classes are going well. Reduced down to two as i'm basically trying to figure out what the fuck I want to do with my life.
Thinking of going to Roanoke after this, seeing as thats where my brother and mom went, but not really sure what the future has in store for me.
Been streaming all sorts of games, DotA 2, CS:GO, and today for the first time ever Fortnite (I know what you're thinking...).
Also I have a new situation with my PC's. I had this second rig just lying around that I would use when friends come over (Pro tip: they never do) so I went ahead and put it upstairs. I was thinking of using it as just a stream slave but instead I now have it upstairs and do it for things that aren't gaming. Helps me stay a little bit more focused sort of like I did in high school. For now, i'll refer to this PC as the NOOB PC, and the one in the basement as the PRO PC.
Not really sure about where to go from here, maybe just keep grinding away. I wish there were still local tournaments for SC2 and other games, I sort of miss those. My two favorite games at the moment don't really have that many local tournaments (DOTA 2, CS:GO). There are ones for fortnite and smash but uhm, smash is kind of a crap game in my opinion and I just don't understand why someone would want to LAN a game like Fortnite. Part of the reason I liked lanning games like TF2 or CS:GO or DotA 2 is its teams of 5/6 guys vs. another team of 5/6 guys. Fortnite is like a 100 player cluster-you-know-what, and doesn't really make sense that you would LAN it.
PS. Add me on steam if you want to 1v1 in any of those games I was talking about. Always good to meet other TL'ers.
