I've posted a couple times on here regarding my situation w/ EA, and their use of slider manipulation etc to fix the outcomes of matches in the Madden Championship Series. They have me temporarily suspended for speaking out on the issue, and it looks like they are trying to push me out of the E-Sport.
They are well within their rights to do so, as they are the ones who run these tournaments. I also have options though. I spoke to my attorney today, and he said I probably have grounds for 3 separate lawsuits against EA.
First he said for being at the Jacksonville shooting I can seek additional damages, and he also said that EA probably had a $5-10 million USD insurance policy for that tournament that they basically pocketed.
We then spoke about the match fixing stuff, and I spoke with the FBI on the phone this weekend about this (Over $1,000,000 USD in prize money is a federal crime). I will also be pursuing this in criminal court.
Finally, I will be filing a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the community, because anyone that spends their hard earned money on "E-Cards" that advertise to be running around at 92 speed, but infact are playing at 85 speed or whatever because of the slider bullshit...I think would be entitled to their money back (or at least part of it).
I will also be contacting the people I know in the national media and speaking on the subject. I met a guy last week who is involved in PR, and he said he would talk to his contacts and have them open up an investigation, and bring me in as an expert on the subject.
Wish I didnt have to go down this route to just have a fair game to showcase my skills. Imagine you were playing Brood War, and your units were moving at half speed like they are ensnared, meanwhile your opponents units move at normal speed, or sometimes even faster than normal. Or imagine you had a 50ms lag intentionally programmed on your controls? Would that seem fair to you?

Also will probably be selling my xbox and buying a gaming PC, look for me on the CSGO pro scene in a few months. (I used to be a super high level 1.6 player, and it wouldnt take me long to get my aim back and learn the 2 new maps and guns).

I don't think it's wise to post anything about a lawsuit if you're going to go through with it, because doing so could compromise your case. Furthermore, if you're going to claim that EA is rigging matches, you will need some fairly decisive proof of that happening in the game. You would need to get as much footage as possible, and replicate the circumstances to show side-by-side that there is a discrepancy, and then have a legitimate explanation for the discrepancy. They're going to have good lawyers and technical experts defending them.

I appreciate the advice. I have official EA documents detailing how they have the means, some excellent corumstancial evidence proving their motive, and they definitely had the opportunity.
I spoke with my attorneys today, and they seemed very enthusiastic/optimistic about my case(s). I will keep you guys posted.

I agree with Nina that it might be compromising to post publicly about an ongoing case. Maybe update us once things are done?
