IEM Oakland ..15 years..more

FuDDx United States5014 Posts November 24 2017 19:32 GMT #1 Hello Fellow Teamliquidians!! Its insane how large this forum has grown. I have seen the influx of people from all over not just us old farts screaming about the glory days of BroodWar. Yet it never really hit me hit me until this last weekend while in Oakland for the IEM event. It was an event where it was not just me and a few others wearing a tl shirt or hoodie or omg a white jacket... There were soooo many people sporting TL gear..hats, shirts, jerseys were everywhere.. It was so amazing to see. The PUBG CSGO event was a fun one. Sean and built 2 large guys each. I did a Terrorist with a bomb and the hooded and bandana wearing PUBG guy. Sean built the CT and the White shirt helmet lvl 3 wearing guy. I added in some balloons behind them to look like an explosion. Then for the 2 days of the tourney we made all kinds of stuff for any who were willing to wait in line. Guns were most popular, flags, and just random things. I did score a TL Jersey for a mermaid balloon Sean made which was so cool! Me and some of the non player flamingo team. Sean with his PUBG guy and Mine Close up of the T I made Other news.. So October was my 15th Year here on the forums. Wow.... So proud of being a miniscule part of this ocean of talent and amazing people that is TL. Without TL Id not be making balloons at gaming events sure its not something I do enough to only do that but I hope it comes close one day. And I owe that to this place allowing me to have a voice a blog and how cool is it we have people hear who listen who work hard and play hard... As little as I am here these days TL is always a part of me outside of the computer screen. I wear my gear proud (and have for years) I tell people about gaming and the forums that gave me info and news about Korean pros I never would have got elsewhere..... Shout out to the days of battle reports!!! Ive not posted a blog in some time over a year I think or near enough. I hope I can improve my frequency and my ability to write something and actually make a blog instead of let my brain tell my fingers what to spew forth and leave as is... that's my current and only m.o. .. Did not see anything of the CSGO event. But I guess one of our flags got on stream! All my travel is dependent on...does this work for the family and are others paying my way there, a place to stay, and payment. Secure me those things in DC and I am there!! No way I could go around to these places on my own dime...I have a family and one of my kids is in college now..haha!! I will let everyone know where I go here for sure but on my Balloon man fudd and Balloons For Gamers facebook pages .

Yeah a freshman in college just bought her own car with her own savings and my boy is 11 and in 5th grade! I do hope to get over to Japan sometime so many amazing balloon artists there plus so many other amazing and new things! Thank you lichter!! I have a few other overwatch things check my instagram for some cool stuff if your down balloonmanfudd there. What about 15 beers ill have 1 thanks... haha!! get off my lawn!!! Just a guy who lucked out and found a talent I enjoy with an amazing place to share my passion, all from a netflix documentary...keep yourself open to new things never know when youll find your thing!

I've been generally busy with life and haven't been able to keep up visiting TL as much as I would have liked. Glad to know things are going swimmingly for you. Maybe one day I'll be able to ramp things back up here myself.

I just post even less often than my not often past.../ The other morning I was cold but knew it would warm up....TL Shirt,two TL hoodies and a TL Beanie! Talk about representing!! and an E-sports lanyard that has my TUSD(Tucson Unified School District) ID Badge and School ID's on it!
