I can't say that I ever got into Linkin Park - of course, I had heard a few of their more popular songs prior to Chester's death, but they were never one of those bands that I had ever bothered to actively listen to. Not that his death wasn't sad, of course - it just meant that I had to look up the name Chester Bennington before I realized who he was. I also heard that he had left a wife and kids behind, and I can only imagine what they must be going through.
I found a tweet about it:
Read that last part: "It brings even the strongest to their knees". The first time I saw that, it hit me so hard, it says that someone as famous and popular as Chester Bennington could get depressed. As someone who struggles with depression, I could certainly understand how he might have felt.
On a happier note, I'm proud to announce that I'll be going to Shine 2017! It's basically a huge fighting game tournament which includes Smash, Street Fighter, and other games.
Ok, that's it for now, see you guys later!
