problem is if you spread them out you get don't have enough focused dps and the marines shred you, if you bunch up then the vessel irradiates + marines melt your stacked mutas. That game he just pulled hotdog apart with multitasking, baited stims, there weren't enough medics, and forced the marines to move through the mineral lines/depots so they were spread out. He probably could've just a-moved at some point though it's always a good way to throw.
