My personal favorites are When I'm Grandmaster, Fly Like Aiur and Banelings. I've listen to some of them so many times years ago. I think I had a playlist with them at some point. | ||

By a wide margin though my favorite Starcraft song is this: First of all, Maddelisk absolutely nails this song. She could be Tarja's replacement herself. Even without the context it'd be in my top ten. Here's the thing though. This whole song is Maddelisk calling out her competitors at her uni. This is like, NEXT LEVEL trash talk in a way. A whole well-edited song sung by her saying essentially "come at me bro." And then she proceeds to win the whole thing!? "Can the zerg be stopped?" I GUESS NOT! Gotta respect that. That's the sort of epic move I can only dream about, and we the spectators still get that awesome song out of the deal. Gotta love it. Overall I think my top three are: 1. Land of the Zerg 2. Dan 3. When I'm Grandmaster I think this is a really great pairing of original song to parody song. Choosing a hardcore fan of Idra as the topic of the parody, I think is a brilliant way of using the original them work in new ways. Choosing Idra, the bad boy of SC as the parallel to the Eminem persona, I think works well. That the original song is so good, also helps this parody. About six months to a year after the first time I listened to this song I finally put 2 and 2 together. "Dan" isn't just a hardcore fan, he's Artosis! (Dan Stemkosi or whatever the spelling is), hence the practice partner being Nick ("Tasteless" Plott). And Artosis did indeed start as Zerg and switch to Toss. Is a very well crafted song that way. | ||

I had this song on an old HDD, along with the links at the bottom of this post. Since been stolen out of a smashed car window. I'll save them here instead. I remember there being an electro song about the Huk 'Top 3 Control' meme that was actually a banger. edm / dance music / whatever / sounded like it might be a deadmau5 track? I've done my best digging but the only search results that were worth anything were TL cause of course they were. But liquipedia's trivia on HuK didn't help either. Hopefully anyone else who remembers my bernstein bears also finds this post in their results I guess.
