EPTAfter Kerrigan had enacted her revenge on the emperor and was now on her way to challenge Amon, other leaders of far off planets battled for power. They formed new alliances on the basis of combat rather than race. So some Zerg allied with some Terrans and they were known as the faction of Acer. Still other leaders allied and were known as Liquid. Many other factions also existed and so I will move onto more interesting matters.
Now a certain protoss named Zest was a pheonix pilot of great power. His gravitonic beams were executed in exceptional tandom with his squad to kill many a drone not properly protected by spore crawlers. One day a war broke out between his faction, KT Rolster & SK Telecom T1. SKT had taken the Tesseract Drive from KT Rolster's storage and now Zest was being sent to retrieve the stolen engine parts. Unsure of where to begin, he traveled to the planet of Catallena, home of the monster called Cthulhu. While he had no desire to interact with the strange octopus monster, this had been the last siting of the engine, so he had no place else to seach.
Upon his arrival, he set down and began to survey the area. Realizing it had been overrun by zerg, he assembled a fleet and killed ferral zerg as he seached the planet for information. However, as he flew over a hatchery, a spore crawler shot his pheonix out of the sky. He ejected, landing on a hatchery. There a roach attempted to kill him with its acidic projectiles of half-digested dinner. He narrowly dodged it. The roach, to his supprise, spoke, saying, "I am the primal roach called Soulkey. Leave this place."
Zest realized that if anyone knew where the terreract drive had gone, this primal roach should. So he cut down the spore crawler and ran towards Soulkey. The zerg almost seemed to smile, like as if Zest was moving into a trap. He opened his mouth to drown Zest in acid, but another pheonix picked Zest up and dropped him into a warp prism. Zest was then able to return with a much larger fleet and Soulkey fled the planet in a leviathan.
Zest pursued Soulkey to the planet of Merry Go Round. It was called this because the planet's rotation seemed to stop and start for some strange reason, almost as if it was expecting people to get on and get off its wild ride. Zest did not mind this phenomonon as he flew his squad of pheonixes in search of Soulkey. After much travels, he found the fugitive and closed in. Lifting the primal roach into the air, he threatened to fire. Under the pressure, Soulkey answered, "Ok, I did take the Tesseract Drive, as ordered to by SKT. However, my leviathan was badly injured, so I had to stop out at King Saejong Station. The terran overseeing the facility, Cure, refused to service me unless I gave him something of worth. I was forced to pawn off my acquisition in favor of repairs. I informed my masters of this and they said they would send someone better equipped to retrieve it from there... at least your faction doesn't have it anymore."
Satisfied and disguised, he dropped Soulkey back onto a spore crawler and left to find Cure.
