Ehome will probably do better here. Mushi's team dedication will have some clever drafts that will push them into the top 3 position.
Think iG and Secret despite their star line-up won't perform as well, especially the latter given the chinese home advantage.
LGD has been consistently strong throughout recent tournaments, while VG is always a bit flaky, but they! Everyone on their team makes the most amazing plays, thats why I carry their flair.
NB meh.. hao do these guys win. Hope they don't go far.
U really think Inflame's drafting is going to make them beat ig/vg/lgd/nb?
Things move pretty fast in the Dota2 world, once NaVi and Alliance look all but invicible, as well as iG and NB. Today these teams seem vulnerable enough. 3 months ago, no one thought MVP would make a deep run in any tourney outside of Korea. So yeah, given EHOME's current performance I don't see them going anywhere but up?

I do agree IG is a lot weaker right now especially since who the fuck knows what roster they are even playing with.

i agree, LGD has looked really inconsistent with the star squad and Ehome have been in really good form lately. Also iG don't have a 5th player right now lol and Luo is not as good as ZYF. (outside of 430, iG's cores are all worse than Ehome's cores)
NB/VG are probably top 2 imo, 3rd to 10th could really be any order

hah. Ok. Maybe NB are not vulnerable if you consider ECL results but even you'ld agree they don't seem all too concerned.. don't mind me if I don't think skill alone is enough to win DAC.

I mean I highly doubt NB is just going to play more RPGs for a 2 Mill tourney cause even with TI winnings they still get a decent chunk

SO hyped for this. Love the humouristic approach you took.

Newbee seems like top 2 for sure as this seems as their patch (full agression and teamfighting) with those strong cores in current meta (axe, jugg, troll). Hope we see naix from them as always .

Ehome preaty stronk yo atleast on paper! (ohaiyo one of best offlaners at this moment.) Just their drafting feels subpar with those 4core strats :D.

I'd put MVP a little higher, I think they can upset some of the lower Chinese squads and whichever Western team/teams that start choking. The top part of the rankings I definitely agree with though.

They already took the aegis of TI4, will they also take the rapier of DAC ? Are you super smart with words, or is there an actual rapier?
Btw I like the list, but I'd put c9 one spot higher. Also, MUCH is going to depend on who faces who.

shield of aegis and sword of radiance. Seems like Naga trophy 4 me :D.

Really nice post, enjoy'd it and agree with most of it. Wish more people would post this or we'd get a TL one done. Really agree about BG where is 430 ? He really deserves a good team, any team he's in gets carried to doing ok just by having him in, last good team he had won TI. Common IG give 430 a good backup cast!
|
+ Show Spoiler +And then Newbee was 0-2 losing to MVP and EG is 2-0... I seriously didn't expect this
Before the matches started I would have mostly agreed, I think TeamSecret is a little overrated but is still really good.
|
more like the western teams are underrated compared to the eastern
|
keep in mind group stages only matter to get top 8 or 12 really nothing else and this was only day 1 so don't draw too big conclusions lol there's a lot of dota left to play
newbee went like 6-9 in the TI4 groups lmao
