EPTHey everyone,
We finished Archon Super Series ep.3 today and it went really well! We missed having The Templar and SGTK as volunteers but are sure they will be back for next time.
Before I get into the usual pros and cons of the episode I want to ask a question of all of you.
We had an idea that would be a variation of the archon series, it is extremely relevant to the scene based on current events but we would need a lot of public support to make it happen. We want to have a kickstarter to try and fund an event we thought of.
The basic premise is that we raise money to be able to create a prize pool large enough to interest Naniwa and various pro gamers who hate Naniwa to all be interested in participating in an event where two pros team up in archon mode against Naniwa. Because Naniwa is immediately handicapped we could not host a traditional prize pool style event but rather we would have it so that at the beginning he holds 100% of the prize pool, every time an archon team beats him they take off a certain percentage of the winning. After the event, Naniwa would take home all the money he had left (with a minimum value predetermined so he doesn't have to worry about going home empty handed) and the money won by the archon teams would go into a second prize pool for them to fight over tournament style.
The idea is a bit convoluted but we just wanted to pitch it to you all and see what you think about the concept/if you would help support it.

Back to the Archon event
Like I said earlier, things went really well today so let just break it down a bit
Things we liked
1. We had our first ever non ragequit archon win. While we know that SGTK and The Templar are badasses in their own right and forced PartinG to leave a few games, it felt really great to have one of our archon teams force a legit GG out of a pro gamer
2. Viewership was the highest we have had yet and we got a lot of good feedback about our casting/observing
3. Everyone seemed to have a great time
4. ROOT Hydra is an amazingly fun guy, he really helped make the event as good as it could have been
Things we didn't like
1. There was a weird sound glitch that caused all of our audio to only come out of the left ear. We are currently trying to find the cause of this and fixing it asap
2. WCS America ended up being scheduled at the same time as our event. After the last matches ended we had a big influx of viewers but it was scary at first.
