Looks great and can't wait to get my hands on this. Interesting to read your notes on player feedback. Looks like some very important stuff is in there. The feedback you are getting sounds very familiar. Alot of it has touched magic the gathering and android:netrunner stuff in the past. These effects have been changed, overcosted or generally just removed from new cards released to enjoy the pleasure of actually getting to play the game. One typical example is that players absolutely HATE getting their cards counterspelled but when they get removed they feel alot better about it. The same goes for taking extra turns or removing other people's turns. Simply put, players want to see their cards do something and most of all they want to be able to interact with their opponent(s). There shouldn't be too much simcity and patience in a multiplayer game. So yeah, I like the fact that you're emphasising simplicity in design and aren't afraid to radically change things to get back to your core design philosophy of having an entertaining, transparant and accessible game. Eagerly awaiting your next installment! | ||
