I just started doing this and it feels SO AWESOME.
My first successful cheese was proxy 10 gates inside this Protoss's main on Daybreak.
My second successful cheese was 1 base DT (SHOWED HIM THE DTs) with 3 gates and a Warp Prism with 2 Immortals. Dropped the Immortals, instantly sniped the Turret, then warped in 3 DTs. Took a natural and a Robo Bay behind it but wasn't even necessary... EZ win with a little micro!

Unsuccessful cheeses:
Cannon rush PvP that ALMOST worked (I used his cyber to wall off my cannon but he cancelled it and I wasn't able to block with a pylon in time)
2 Pase 6 Colossus + Mothership (not core, Mothership) vs Terran. I missmicroed a little (didn't focus Stalkers) and he got my proxy pylon so I couldn't warp in Zealots to deal with the Marauders.
Also, I GOT cheesed. Tried to go Nexus first but the guy put his second hatch in my expansion on Daybreak and spined me.

Interestingly, gold players on the KR server still die to cannon rushes, PF rushes, and even a BC rush, but not to proxy gates. The more ridiculous the cheese, the more unexpectedly successful it's been.

I tend to do a lot of proxy hatches lately... so fun.. only cant really pull it off in ZvZ, so there you have to play properly

Just finished a bunch of 1-base hellion drops and 2 rax reaper aggression games... I am proud to say I was told to kill myself 4 times tonight :D

I have a pretty cool cheese I do in zvz
Ive adapted TLO's 10p burrow rush he does vs. toss and have been using it in zvz
basically if they hatch first or even 15p you can get them to cancel the hatch and when burrow finishes you burrow a ling at their nat.. and simply just contain them as long as possible while you expand behind it.
when they finally break out and look to expand they either need to spread creep and get a spore, get 1 base lair, or try and take some other more exposed base.
I've won most games doing this

Hah, well this fuck it let's cheese attitude certainly has been getting mixed reviews - on one hand a lot of people are vocally supporting me which I like on the other hand seems like I'm getting a few 1 star reviews on here :p
After a day of nasty 1 base cheese I can confidently say that I had fun. But I'm going to have to refine my cheese if I want to win... didn't do so well results wise yesterday.
I'll probably settle somewhere between dirty dirty cheese and YOLO 2 base allins.

A couple of things:
1. It sounds like you're the hipster not Classic :p
2. Get American cheese from the deli, it's much higher quality than the milky stuff in the aisle.

going on a cheese binge with protoss is something players of all races need to do once in a while. its wonderful. and your rank will actually go up (usually for me at least) even though its offrace
have u tried any proxy 9gate9forge? good vs random, or terran that wall off. better than 2 gate in certain cases
also on metalopolis you can go 10gate/10gas poke into gold base, hahahaha in diamond most terran suck at defending 10gate/10gas (although its easy to defend imo)

I never really understood the mentality that one should only play a macro game and they be damned if they try to cheese. Some of my most fun and memorable memories were because I played with a friend and we would keep cheesing in RvR. You end up in unknown territory since the game goes in so many different directions depending on the maps, races, type of cheese etc... Having said that, glad you are enjoying here and here's to more!

Reinstalled SC2 again just for fun.
I just 2-gated every game and never lost. One protoss even managed to get a core out but I had killed all but 3 probes and had a cannon at my main.
Most terrans also couldn't handle this if you probe harassed correctly and didn't let them wall up. The only time one of them came close to holding it off was when he had reapers out, but he mismicro'd too much and I won ez.

I'm not sure if it's because of the #dreampool TL article or not but every single game on the ladder is cheese now. Like, literally every single game I am getting cheesed while trying to cheese.
