You don't tell someone that you're going to call the cops on them, you just do it. Same with suing someone. You don't announce "EXPECT TO HEAR FROM MY LAWYER", you just do it. Cuz what if you call the cops and they don't do anything? Maybe they'll talk to him and then drive away, and then you will be left with a maniac killer who knows you are a threat to him. In that scenario, I would say: have fun trying to sleep at night. | ||

I didn't see the point in even wanting to call the cops, but I got to thinking to myself and wondering how you guys would think of it. To me it seems weird/dumb to say things like this and to not even say your joking ever to strangers. Makes me wonder how stable he is. He told his mom because he was scared he was actually going to kill his ex gf (that he didn't know he's never had) and didn't know what to do about it. I personally wouldn't have told my parents because I don't think there is anything they can do nor the cops anyway. But he wanted to see because what if he had, had a gf and was planning it and his whole plan came out? He was concerned for a potential persons safety and didn't think everything through on his options (that should have been talk to us first probably and not his mom who over reacts and goes to the extreme on a lot of things).
