That being said I was making a lot of errors on a weekly basis. We are allowed 5 mistakes per month without any reprimands (I do lose my incentive checks though). I have only been working at my current job for two months and already 13 people have been fired. The looming thought of being suspended or worse, terminated, is always on everyone's minds.
Fast forward to now. I have experienced a tremendous positive surge at work. I haven't made a mistake in over six weeks and have been hitting my cases per hour for the most part. I am still on my probation period. The last thing I had to conquer in order to be hired on permanently was to hit my cases per hour. It is a huge feat for me and i couldn't feel any better. Especially with what is coming at the end of this week.
I have always lived at home with my parents. Up until two years ago when they decided to move and I didn't want to follow suit. I wanted to stay in the San Francisco bay area. So I found a place to live. I struggled(literally was homeless at a few points). Luckily I had my car to sleep in at those lowest points. Come Saturday I am finally moving into my own apartment! With my new job came a huge salary increase. Instead of making a measly ~25,000 a year, I now make ~65,000 a year. This enabled me to be able to afford my own place to live.
I have never been happier. Even though I literally bust my ass at work every day, I couldn't be more ecstatic. My usual 10 hour shift is no joke. If you want something in life work hard enough and you will eventually attain whatever it is. Through hard work I was able to accomplish a lot of things in my life. I set myself up for a great future. I have been sharing my recent success with as much friends as I can. Paying for their meals and covering everything I can on our endeavors. Even though it is costly I want to share my happiness and success with all those around me. Plus making my friends happy makes me happy.
Thank you all for taking a read, cheers TL
