Hey everyone,
due to being banned repeatedly, my first version of 'an album a day' fell short after just one day.
So here's my second try:
I intend to listen to one music album a day, recommended by TL. Afterwards, I will write a quick review about it. The goal of this thread is to expand my musical horizon. I prefer all kinds of rock, but I will listen to outstanding albums out of every genre.
With your help I will try to create a basic catalogue of TL's favourite albums and my subjective reviews of them.
-each post may contain one submission. -after three submissions, stop posting and I choose one of the three. -please post serious suggestions, albums you would really recommend.
I'm starting with a popular suggestion from the previous thread:
July 27th: King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King Rush, Moving Pictures Karnivool, Sound awake + Show Spoiler +Crimson King: JESUS BALLS! What is this? Some of the solos were mental! July 28th: Cheshire - Simply Lifted Insomnium - Since The Day It All Came Down + Show Spoiler +
Please post your suggestions now, keep it to one suggestion per poster per day, please.
Thank you kindly!

Kishi Basi - 151A. Probably a type of listening you're not used to but I personally enjoyed this album.

Rush - Moving Pictures(or any Rush album really)

For something recent that's not trash: Karnivool - Sound awake. It's kind of mellow prog rock/metal, very laid back.

Okay,
that's it for today, lichter's suggestion is the first one for tomorrow.
I take Muffloe's and Rollin's suggestions for today.

I take Muffloe's and Rollin's suggestions for today. I was kind of afraid that you might've already heard that, but as you liked rock I went for something classic to begin with, something that can stand its own ground.
Eagerly awaiting review

Sounds interesting, I'll be the nerd bringing some metal into the mix.
Insomnium - Since The Day It All Came Down

Didn't have time to write up the reviews yet, but I added and listened to today's winners already.
Metal is most welcome, refrain from K-Pop please.
Also, I think I listened to that Rush album like 6 times while packing up boxes today. I knew all of the songs beforehand, of course, but I don't think I ever listened to an entire album. Admittedly, it's quite a Rush.

Okay guys, keep going. I'd love some indie rock, por favor.
