So I decided months ago that I want to get into Web/UX design. I've been teaching myself all sorts of stuff in that pursuit, and trying to build up more and more skills and portfolio to assist me in getting an in-industry job.
So I'm trying to find some new projects to hopefully push me out of my comfort zone a bit and allow me to have something with content to show off. Anyone interested?
I'll make you a website for free (or mega cheap if its a biiig project)!
I tried to this a while back and while I had several people express interest....not one of them actually responded to provide followup info. 
Hopefully this time it will work! I've got some projects/stuff online now too, you can check them out at jacobmichelini.com. I'm entirely self taught and can do a wide variety of things.
If you need a site with integrated sales or user system then I am not at the stage to provide that yet, but anything else I'm happy to give a shot. I can do graphics work as well.

Fellow web designer here, just wanted to mention that your portfolio page looks pretty slick, the design flows really well, although the connecting bars look a bit pixeled (tends to happen with rotated divs, at least with Chrome, the white shadow just highlights it).
The rest of your portfolio looks pretty good though, a few details here and there but I really liked the look and feel of most of them (I loved your Audiocollector and responsive design pages). Best of luck!

Thanks a ton, yeah, I used to like chrome a lot more before I started web design and saw what it does to fonts and diagonals compared to FF. Some of the older stuff on the portfolio is a bit dated now.....I've come a long way

Yeah the "add a kitty" was mentioned once to me too while i was working in a website company. I was just coding but the grapher was really astonished by the crap people asked him to do.

If you want to make a website for free, why not make a website for the community?
For example, something that is missing is a simple twitch statistics page.
Basically a simple web page that displays different graphs showing number of viewers per game and number of viewers per player for different timelines.
For that you would need to set up a server that pulls data from the twitch API (www.dev.twitch.tv) regularly.

Hey OP, nice work! your portfolio looks good  but you might want to preload the images when the site is loading instead of when the user mouse hovers them, that way you avoid displaying partially loaded images to the user

I'd love to do that kind of tool site but right now I'm familar with HTML/CSS and a little bit of javascript, so that kind of server/database PHP stuff is out of my realm of knowhow.
