Recently flew over to culturally rich Jogja (known to foreigners as Yogyakarta) in Indonesia for a short holiday. The best thing about it were the two UNESCO sites, Borobudur and Prambanan - both architectural marvels in their own right. The former being one of the largest Buddhist Temples in the world and the later an Hindu influenced series of temples dedicated to the Trimurti gods.

We also went to a famous street in the heart of the city called Malioboro which even had a horse carriage lane of its own at the side of the road!

For those thinking of going there, here is a video I made of our trip.

Maybe some Indonesians here can tell me what I've missed we were only there for 2 days! Anyway we are planning to go to Lombok next! What do you guys recommend?

And after that it was back to Singapore to organise the Starcraft 2 Vengeance Cup the next day. Yekke and Revenant ended up winning the two slots to Thailand for the regional finals. You guys can check out the recap over here - it was kinda like the WCS for SEA which Blizzard put together for us.

Saw the title and was like "Jogja Indonesia?!" Anyway, if you come to ANY place in Indonesia, the first thing I would suggest would be to try the local foods. Indonesia is very diverse in cultures so therefore there's plenty of different food anywhere in Indonesia (be warned however, usually everything is spicy

haha yea I love indonesian food!!!!!! We had this curry chicken thing with jackfruit...

I forgot what the spicy thing on the right was but it was super good! I think it was skin or something.

I think the one on the right may be something of crackers with sauce on it.
