I don't necessarily have a computer I can play SC2 on just yet, but I just wanna meet some friendly people who want to talk about, or eventually play SC2 with.

I'm pretty young, but i'm old enough to work. I'm looking for jobs right now but I shouldn't be expecting a job too soon. Besides, SC2 has really high system requirements so i'd need a computer that is, at the least, decent. I live in New York, so that makes finding a job even harder, so I might not be able to play too soon. But still, it would be great to have a few friends to talk with about Star Craft 2. I'm the only person in my school who actually plays SC2, and everybody else has either never heard of it or has only seen the HoTS trailer. I have some friends interested in getting it, but they haven't yet. I know the community here on TL is very friendly, so I came here looking for a friend.

You seem very similar to me in these regards, lol. How long have you been playing, if at all?

I've had StarCraft 2 for almost a year. About 11 months. Haven't actually played it for 10. Glad to hear I'm not the only one in this kind of situation. It's hard to be a gamer without other gamer friends to play with

Oh, and also, I've gotten in 11 games in that one month, and lost every one of them to cheese. I skipped practice league so I could get some legit practice without distructible rocks blocking the ramps between bases

where in new york do you live? I live upstate! But if you live in the city, it's literally another state

I live on Long Island, in Levittown. Probably really far from where you might live

Okay, so I have 2 friends in my school now with SC2, but I feel like it would be better if I still had some SC2 buddies on TL because i'm not exactly the best SC2 player, and i'm coaching 2 people that are in mid-low bronze (one got inti silver because he got lucking that some people are stupid enough to leave before he does when he loses...)

I obviously cant play SC2 atm but it would be nice to have somebody that teaches me about SC2 that way I can teach my friends
