What's the point of serving your time for a crime if people are going to keep judging you for it? No one is asking you to have any tolerance for people sleeping with children, the point is that just because someone commits a crime doesn't doom them for the rest of their life, if that was true, prison sentences would always be life-time.

Not that this guy did sleep with children, but I personally feel like the time sentenced for having sex with kids is way to little. Plus you can't cater the law to different peoples moral. To me, doing jail time doesn't absolve one of ones sins so to speak.

To be fair, most convicts carry the ex-con label. That isn't something that really ever goes away. Is it right? Of course not. Is it a sad part of labeling theory? Yes. Unfortunately it is how most of society works, and in general I have to say that most people don't look at a past sex offender/child molester and say that his slate is clean after X number of years served, that is the law's time to clear one's name and not society's time to clear ones name; a lot of times, society's time to clear one's name takes until death in the west.

I would say that someone that sends random people texts with explicit content and sends underaged girls nude pics is a little bit worse that just lonely and a bit awkward. If it was just a few texts with a quick conclusion I would even say he would deserve getting trolled, but it was just so extreme. They really went full retard on the guy.
