Weird texts

So I get out of work at like 2AM and my friend is texting me to see what i was doing and when I get out of work. We chat for a bit after I do get out of work on my way home. She never asked me to come to her place or anything, so I just assume she got out of a bar at the end of St. Patricks and just wants to chat with someone she knows is up. WHen I ask her what she's up to when I finally got home she said her boyfriend never came home and she's about to screw her roomate.

I don't really know what to say. There is a decent age difference between us (10 or so years) and we've only ever really texted and hung out at work. I'm concerned for her because of her boyfriend and whatnot, but it seems like a weird thing to say to a friend. I don't know if it was some type of invitation or what and what I'm supposed to say. It's not like I would sleep with her while she was going out with her boyfriend (I've had to many friends get tore up by their women cheating).

What Am I supposed to say to that? I told her I was sorry her boyfriend didn't come home and I hoped he was safe and remained silent on the other subject. SHould I just pretend like it never happened or what?

Maybe it's a subtle plea for help? Maybe she needs some external force to stop her from a very bad decision. Hopefully its not too late. Alternatively, you could delete the text and pretend it didn't happen so you don't get tangled in some very messy business. Either way, good luck dude. Hope it works out.

It sounds like she's reaching out. Whether it's for help or something else, seems like she needs someone/something.

Either that or she is just drunk.

What's really happening is she is pissed her boyfriend never came home and she's assuming he's fucking some girl so she wants to bang her roommate as payback (probably more of a threat than a reality). She's probably reaching out to you to complain or as a backup if her roommate says no. Do yourself a favor and stay out.

Ya relationships are best left alone unless there are signs of abuse. I have tried to help my friend and his gf, she turned on me and I lost 2 friends as a result. Best advice is to steer clear.

Not as bad as getting a random text stating "I'm pregnant and you're the father" and after a very tense 15 minutes of her pleading for me to step up and be a man, I finally convinced her that A)I had no idea who she was and B)She had the wrong number.

Chicks don't cheat for the same reasons dudes do. 90% of the time they cheat because the relationship isn't working for them and they aren't getting their emotional needs met. On top of this, they will usually ALWAYS let the boyfriend know somehow in order to sabotage the relationship into ending.

Guys are more simple, we cheat because we like sex and its a purely physical thing.

These are facts, not opinions.

Back to your story, maybe she knows that you would be someone to tell her bf about this. What you should do; nothing. It's none of your business and she is trying to mix you up into it because she is chaotic. Forget about it. Also, Are you like 31 and she's 21? That's not a healthy relationship to start up for either of you, you know better.
