We actually ended up blowing the shit out of the space station we were fighting after Lucas left. It's totally radiated, but we might still go in and look for data. The people from the other space station evacuated because their reactor got blown up too. They docked with us and we sedated most of them to conserve life support.

We eventually took a break and then Andrew started to communicate to us in stranger and stranger ways. First by playing us the song of his people, the electrical whales, and then by (we assume) facerolling his keyboard and only hitting p and enter. Much fascination and discussion arose when he switched to L and enter. :D

Andrew, i dont know if you will read this, but it was a lot of fun playing with you in general, and i wish you all of luck with your new job, even if that means that you can't be awake in the middle of the night to play with us anymore (Maybe you can find a more local gaming group that plays at australian times?)

It is understandable that being awake from midnight to 6 am every sunday is very hard to reconcile with a normal lifestyle.

Regarding the game next sunday, as i said, there will be 4 characters:

Sol, A woman, dark skinned and beautiful, with shining golden eyes.

Red, A large man, muscular, with a scruffy red beard and brown eyes.

Lily, A young girl, maybe 8 years old, cute, blond hair, violet eyes.

Jack, An old man, gaunt, thin, with long white hair. Hard, blue eyes.

Jack wanted to play Red, but i don't remember who wanted to play what else. Each of them have their specific intro texts, and they all share this problem where they are living in a sterile white room and don't exactly remember why.

I am going insane. Apparently it is completely impossible to edit PDFs. I had this nice idea to make cool character sheets by changing a few things. Shouldn't be too hard, right? Get a free PDF editor program and edit the pdf, import a picture here, change some text there.

FALSE. There is no free PDF editor. There are some that CLAIM to be free, but they are not. One puts giant fucking watermarks on everything you edit unless you pay them. Another one claims to be a free editor, but doesn't let you edit it until you pay. Another claims to be a free editor, but doesn't actually do ANYTHING AT ALL.

So i googled for more solutions. Apparently you can convert a PDF into an OO document, edit it, and then save it as a PDF again. So i tried that. First converter i find get somes of the images, but none of the text. Second gets some of the text, but none of the images.

Seriously, it is absurd that i have a problem with this. Why are there no free PDF editors? There are free programs for EVERYTHING on the internet. Except for editing PDFs. Hm, maybe i can open a PDF in paint and change some things that way? Still exceedingly silly. If any of you know a program that is capable of doing all of the following:

Open a PDF
Change Text that is saved as a text in the PDF
Do stuff with images in the PDF, or at the very least NOT break those images.
Preferably don't break the formatting or text boxes.
Is free.

I would be grateful. This shit is driving me insane. I can't believe that no way to edit PDFs exists. I don't even see why, at least one program can do what i want it to, it just leaves giant watermarks. Hm, maybe i can find another program to remove giant watermarks from PDFs?

I guess i'm gonna have to torrent something....

Yes, OO TO PDF is easy. PDF to OO was the problem for me. Basically, i have a PDF and want to change some things in it. This means i would have to go PDF-OO (where it breaks), change stuff, OO-PDF (which works fine). Or find a PDF editor, which for some reason i can not explain does not exist as a free product. It really should exist, but it is impossible to find.
