Back by popular deman I bring you our second filmed/Edited fight scene.
Overall I have mixed feelings about the scene. but I will let you watch first before I say anything about it.

The choreography was much better (as in figuring out the moves to do), but I feel like it was a little more sloppy than the last. There are a few reasons for that which I don't want to get in to.
The editing too, I think something was lacking. We rushed it and I think it shows, but I think the choreography was good enough to keep and add to. (The flying knee not included, It was actually super cool cause I jumped off the other guys back to do it but the director of photography didn't catch that part so it looked weird)

Very good. Enjoyed it, looked really good in parts.

However small critic, where the moves "slow down" you can start to see them not hitting each other/being a bit scripted. What you need to do, is speed those parts up. I'm sure that's how they do it in films no? They speed up the action sequences so you cannot tell?

Other than it was a good scene. Ending was good

yeah i felt like its faster in movie scenes rather than slower. cool shit

There are a few ways to handle that in the biz.

1. Speed it up
2. cut out frames
3. shaky cam

Looks like our editor opted for option 2, I think he may have taken out too many frames though.
I think one thing that needs to change in our group is having more input throughout the process.
We typically let everyone do their jobs and stay out of each other's hair but then mistakes get made and there's no one to correct it.

Yeh cut of frames isn't going to help as the parts where you can notice it the most is the punching on the ground and then about 10 seconds after that when everyone is back on their feet.

Like you say, i think if you guys acted more as a team in the editing room it would of looked better
