Warning: Shockingly, things get spoiled in here.
Dumbledore and Snape make out at the end, etc.
Anyways, since KT is out of the Playoff run, Flash played his very last game of Brood War in their match against Woongjin Stars. Fortunately, he didn't get hit with some filler player like Flying but rather, we got to see him against Soulkey on Neo Jade. It proved to be an absolutely magnificent game, truly showcasing why Flash is known as the Ultimate Weapon and was a perfect sendoff on one of the most prolific Brood War careers of all time.
This was an incredibly long, complex, and skillful game and as such, of the 20~ games I’ve ever done battle reports for, this was by far the most difficult. Without further adieu, let’s get into the game!
+ Show Spoiler [Flash vs Soulkey @ Neo Jade] +Flash is the white Terran in the top left, and Soulkey the blue zerg at the bottom left. Flash begins to wall off the front of his natural with a depot and will be going barracks expand. Nothing too risky, he just wants to safely establish himself and move on to a nice macro game. Very willing to oblige, Soulkey will be going for a hatch first. Wait shit. I mean not that So it turns out Soulkey is looking to put on some early pressure. No worries though. Flash may not have scouted but he has a tight wall with a marine behind it, he should be absolutely fine. I mean, Supply Depots are invincible, right?! Since his Marines are popping out on the wrong side anyway, Flash decided to take his next marine and look around a bit. But surely there couldn’t actually be anything out there! Oh no! He made things! With only one marine shooting and only one SCV repairing, Soulkey manages to break down one of the Supply Depots while more lings stream across the map. But no, don’t be silly, this couldn’t actually be the end of the game! Oh. It is? Damn.”Well at least I still have all those medals and dollars. But … Shit.”
And with that, one of the mightiest player’s Brood War career came to a triumphant end. Good luck in your future Sc2 endeavors Flash, not that you’ll need it!

Thanks for getting my hopes up.

Wow that was so... anticlimactic

I quite like it how [warning, imma use a big word] the METAGAME has come completely full circle. In that, the macro economy-based evolution of everything since Python (heck, Luna really) went way too far, and now people are finally getting punished for being overly greedy. They used to play like that, and so its nice to see now how the competitive scene's balanced itself by having more one-base play. GJ BW.
I still maintain Queens, Ghosts, Dwebs and MnM TvP are the true, final metagames of BW, sad we won't have the factories pushing its grueling development to get to that stage >:
