Seems like a very clever way to find mods, especially with the trouble Rotterdam had (Apparently random mods contacted sponsors on his behalf o_O)
|
Not applying, I mod axslavs chat, I was his first mod, was very fun when he was at 20 ish viewers, but when he started getting 1000 ish it was less and less enjoyable to watch for me, since I had to always keep an eye on chat.
But thank you Nony, for making the stream experience better and making an effort to cleaning up the trolls in the twitch chat!
|
Well i'm not a sheep so you probably won't mod me, but good luck with this whole process; really hope it helps you improve!

Thanks for doing this, I remember one day when you read a PM on your stream asking about mods and you said you didn't need mods since the chat is a place for people to hang out and have fun and although a lot of the chat insisted that you'd need mods eventually you disregarded the comments. I'm happy that you've finally come around - good luck finding reliable mods!
|
Best of luck finding mods, I can't apply for various reasons but know the problem of terrible comments in stream chat. I actually made a website called Commune to enable people to have private IRC chatrooms around streams and Youtube videos, but obviously the better answer for trolling chat contributions is to clean it up at the source, to allow you to better interact with your fans.
|
Pretty sure I don't have the qualifications to be modded, but It's cool you're trying to clean up your chat unlike so many others. I wish you luck sir!
|
Why don't most pros do this...
I'll apply. I have loads of free time after classes, so as long as you have those twitter things that pop up when you're streaming, I'll be able to hop on it and help out if needed. My post history... well I used to be a pretty aggressive poster, but I've cleaned it up and been really helpful as of late, so I guess it's to your discretion what to think about that. I post quite a lot in the Zerg Help Me Thread.
I almost always Hide Chat on popular streamers simply due to how awful the chats are, so I'd be glad to be of some use to cleaning that up.
Errr that's about it, I guess.
Twitch name is the same as my name here.

I p.med you. I'm on the forums a lot, doing other works for organizations and I run chats in the background with the stream chat.
Maybe I can help you somehow~ would love to see you stream more and you shouldn't be verbally punished or deterred in what you want to do.
|
I already moderate Sayle's and Jinro's stream chats, I've been on TL for 4 years now, and I'm a massive fan of yours (I was considering asking to mod your chat already, since I'm a regular viewer). I'm fairly responsible, I've not contributed alot to TL per say sadly, I co-authored that awful Jaedong Lomo slash fic that got posted, I've written a few blogs (and that terrible girl blog, which I wish I could delete)
I'm really active on skype and IRC, and perhaps the best friends I've made through TL are through the Gay Starcraft players thread. (and associated IRC channel)
Oh and my twitch name is: homoforlomo
(I was a massive OZ fan back in the day, and Kerotan was taken)

I'll apply. I don't have many posts on TL but I can assure you that I'm constantly watching stream chats wither and die because of the lack of mods or careless mods. I would greatly appreciate being modded and control the ban hammer properly. I am on the east coast but I typically stay up until 2:30 in the morning or so watching streams anyways. Also I don't appreciate people who flame players for the reason and I would love to be able to give them time outs or bans if necessary.
|
I'll happily volunteer to mod for your stream. Your stream is one of my four favourites and I am on skype almost all of the time when I'm at home. I work 12 hour days on a 4 on, 4 off shift, so when my days off hit, I'd have a lot of spare time to help you out. I don't post often, but I've been here for a long time. Let me know if you want me in your army and I'll send you my info.

Happy to be a part of the new army Tyler, I will be in touch more to help out with the chat <3

Don't worry, i will still watch your stream even if you do not mod me :D

I would love to mod your chat. I've been a fan of yours since BW and am a regular viewer!
Currently I have a decent amount of free-time and I would be very regularly available.

I wouldn't mind modding for you Tyler. I'm not a major contributor but I've done graphics for quite a few people on Tl specifically the jd fan cafe(and wouldn't mind doing some for you). You also for auir'd me in the first sc2 Tl attack. Anyway your stream and ret's are the first 2 I watch if seen on the side bar. My twitch account is Grouty and so is my original Tl account to show I'm OG.
|
I'll apply. I'm not incredibly active on TL, but I've been a mod for TrumpSC, who used to stream SC2; now D3, for over a year. So I have experience modding a channel with 1000+ viewers and I'm usually on almost every time you stream. My name on twitch is the same as my TL name. Cheers.

Hi nony, I'll apply.
I almost always watch your stream whenever I'm home, but I also almost always close the chat because stream chats are so miserable. I post fairly often on TL, although I am an SC2 convert, so I only joined a year and a half ago. I'm a fairly reasonable/rational person, and I don't like jumping to assumptions - both of which I think are important qualities in a stream mod. I also have lots of free time these days, so I'll almost always be watching your stream! And ofc if I'm a mod I'll open the chat to make it a better place. I've tried in the past as a normal viewer, but I just get drowned out in shit.
My post history on TL is pretty good. I have like two warnings, ever, both of which were for fairly mild/non malicious things. I try to post constructively, esp. in the strategy forum where I've actually help explained your 2gate build once or twice to people.
I'm oreo7777 on twitch and iKnife on reddit if you've seen me in either of those places.
Thanks

I have to admit I am not a religious viewer of yours, hell, I wouldn't even say I turn in on a regular basis.
However, I love this incentive. I can't recall other major streams really trying to clean up their stream chats in such a way and I think it would be damn productive if it gets done properly. I'm currently on my PC way too much anyway, having a chat or two open in the background and going EE-HAN-TIMING in the face of the worst commentaries wouldn't hurt at all.
About me, I'm one of those people who are always bittervet about how TL used to be back in the days when everyone was cool and nice (hell, I didn't even make an account back then because the quality of posts was so high I never felt I could contribute much) and where people actually read other peoples post. Currently I mostly use TL for the smaller communities (LoL, DotA 2, EvE, D2) and I'm on a religious quest to smack down any infidel who talks down on someone elses game. ♥
Shout if you want me in your army. =P
|
If you are interested I would love to Mod for you, I have lurked TL since about '08-'09 so my join date and post count don't reflect what they should.
I would be glad to help clear out the scum that love stream chats in general; I know I'm not a big contributor on TL so I won't be offended if you don't Mod me. I'll still be watching.
Good luck in finding good people.

Hi NonY,
I watch your stream fairly regularly as I am a protoss player so if you want I can help you out with your chat. I'm a 20 years old, engineering student from Croatia.I can't promise you I will always be there to mod your chat, but I spend a fair amount of time behind my computer(on TL ) every day,so I should be able to do the job. I'm not a 10 year vet of the forum but I have been posting for a while now and have a decent amount of posts,I'm not the shining example of what a TL poster should be like, but I try to contribute when ever I can with a good post. For what it's worth,I'm one of the chat mods for Jojosc2news stream as well. Although I am from Europe,my sleeping schedule is fairly irregular(due to uni, exams, etc.) so I can watch US streamers. Best of luck in finding mods man, much love from a fellow toss<3 My twitch user name is:TheKefk4

Hey Tyler! I'm Jordan, a 21 college student from Ohio. I am interested in being a mod. Currenrly, i mod for onemoregame.tv and I am abailable pretty much all day to mod since I don't have a job this summer. My twitch name is imjorman.
I look forward to hearing from you!
|
I'll apply. I'm a huge fan of yours and sadly you're the only person I didn't get an autograph from this last weekend @ MLG..
I always choose your stream over others whenever I see you're on. I've been apart of TL since Sc2 came out and have checked it everyday since. I'm a mod for some of the guys from Team Vile (Quantic) so I have experience. I always watch streams, whether its during downtime at work or when I'm at home playing SC myself.
Good luck!
|
Hey Nony. I have a pretty good post history, with only a warning and a temp ban. But both of these were really early in my post history, and I've been clean for quite awhile now. I also am on a very large % of the time you stream, and I watch you during those times anyways. I have TONS of free time, so that is unlikely to be much of a constraint. I also like to think that I'm a pretty calm dude. I have been lurking around TL since the very end of '09 but a little over a year ago finally made an account.
My Twitch.TV name is the same as my TL one; GhandiEAGLE
I look forward to your response!

I watch a lot of a streams and click chatters names then realize I'm not a mod and can't ban these obviously racist/hateful/etc people. I find myself closing the stream chat because of this. It would be good to be able to help get rid of malicious comments to make the chatting/viewing experience better for others.
I mod for Sheth's stream (though tbh, no malicious people go there, nicest chat in the world), and I'd do my best to help you out with your chat if given the opportunity.
I'm johnnywup on twitch as well as TL

Well Torte will probably make up 50% of the posts in your chat anyway, so it's better having him on our side.

I'll happily volunteer, after all you are the reason I'm playing protoss.
Been a fan ever since I saw you against Idra in the TSL2 qualifiers. Being from Europe, you streaming and me being awake doesn't always overlap, but my sleep schedule is all sorts of weird due to university (studying medicine, so I'm usually buried in books late at night).

Hey there,
Pretty cool seeing you get the community involved at making your chat a better place for everyone. You are right, it does get pretty bad at times, but it is good to see that you are going to be making a valiant effort in improving the quality of your chat. I know there will be a lot of requests and there are quite a lot of good people making requests for that glorified position as mod, so without further adieu...I would like to help out. I currently moderate Rotterdam's channel when he decides to stream, as well as various other non-Starcraft related streams such as Zeekdageek's Minecraft stream. Other than that I usually just am lurking around watching CatZ, NASL and other streams simultaneously...But yeah...that's about all I got right there ha...
Good luck on your quest for moderating madness! Thanks for at least cleaning it up a bit and making the effort to kick that much more ass . Much respect and all that ass kissing henceforth....

I would love to help I don't have many posts I mostly use TL for stream viewing but have been looking for a way to get more involved in the stream community that doesnt require me to buy a new pc. My name on twitch is Screwy474.

Torte de Lini for mod! :D That guy is awesome!
|
Applying here!
Started to watch Starcraft BW, have always been lurking on TL. Usually only watch your stream or TL streams. I was always inclined to avoid inserting my own opinion in drama threads, tournament threads, stream chats etc. They often tended to devolve into the most petty, meaningless, hateful of fights and thus I never really provided my own opinion because well...nothing would become of it. It really surprises me that some people are outspoken enough to make very strong statements without enough knowledge of esports or SC.
I'd like to think I'm pretty rational and level-headed, I've had some role as forum admins for various game clans, and I've also been admin on a few TF2 servers as well. But seriously, if you had to choose just one, pick up Torte for sure. I'd be more than happy to answer any PMs or questions.

Hi,
I'd like the opportunity to be a mod. I believe I'm a very fair, non-judgemental person. I currently mod for Liquid`HerO and EGiNcontroL. I also have a Team Liquid keycap and a Razer Deathadder Black Edition I've got a absolute ton of free time between now and mid-September as well.
My Twitch name is Mackem496.

Sent you a pm! Good luck with the search!

ugh I mod for protech and that already is a pain, can't imagine doing so for a pro gamer with many many more viewers. would be so annoying since you just sit in chat banning rude idiots who then go on tl forums and politely ask why they were banned

I would apply, but I absolutely hate stream chats. I make a point not to open them, lol.
Good luck with your search, though.

I am applying for NonY's Stream mod, if you start streaming I get a txt message to my phone and I will normally stop whatever I am doing to hop on. I stopped reading stream chat because it was pretty hectic and trolls run rampant. If we did get a good army of mods I would love to chat about your strats, other fans, I have modded my own stream channel, and IRC channels years ago.
Twitch.tv name is SigmaoctanusIV

I sent those people replies letting them know I modded them. Some of the PM's were really old so I'm also going to recruit people from this thread.
Write a bit about yourself. Having more posts and an older registration date on TL.net will help you get modded. I apologize to the people who know the wisdom of not posting on forums and are now being punished for it. If you have very few posts but you know they are intelligent and productive posts, then go ahead and apply and I will check your post history to get the gist of you. If you prefer, you can send me a PM.
If you are staff or a major contributor on TL and you might once possibly read my stream chat, please let me know your twitch.tv username so I can go ahead and mod you in case you ever do use my chat.
If you are a pro player or commentator or league admin or personal friend of mine or anything like that, same goes for you. PM me or post here to get modded.
The moderation I'm looking for at first is very limited but requires a lot of mods because so many people are so extremely bad. The blatantly terrible comments that are mean spirited and absolutely counterproductive to a good chat have to go.
Once the absolute shit is removed, I'll be talking with my most active mods in Skype (so you must use Skype if you want to be the best mod you can be!) about more refined moderation to get the chat in the best state we possibly can.
I stream any time from about 8am Pacific to 10pm Pacific so I could really use quite a lot of mods to cover every hour of the day.
Thanks!
Item mods make whole new modes that make whole new mods to play in those modes. I hope your modality is modded and that you continue to mod with great moderation. And it sounds good and is a great stress relief to me. A stress relief that I have earned and do not deserve in the sense that if anyone has earned more stress relief than me they should be afforded more stress relief than me. I have earned enough stress relief that I am happy to relieve your stress and my stress and the stress of others whose stress is in need of relieving and we can all enjoy the benefits from stress relief that I have earned and you should give me, and then on top of that there's more stress relief that's necessary to continue giving stress relief to all those who are still in stress and this is the nature of life prior to relieving stress; once all my stress and all other stress is relieved then there will be no more stress neither then nor at a future time.
a footnote: my ability to relieve stress is in some way a function of my consciousness. if i am conscious of 0 stress or even less than 0 stress, then my choice to enjoy this experience is considered; the valuation of future incarnations should not include that which is unattainable at present, nor should our present valuation neglect to include that which has been in the past.
edit: and in my greatly reduced state of stress reduction i win more games in Starcraft 2 because i should, and so i practice more than 30 minutes per day because I want to and my abilities vary in their capacity to vary greatly due to lack of practice. and i've been wanting to win so i'll be pumping up the jam, pearl jam style (that story is fucked up to anyone who has read that story regardless of truth value). and our great ability to face our own terror, as it is called in diablo 3, gives us more ability to face our own terror in reality that is frightening to us (and some things are just insensitive, is how i'd right it.) so with the new mods and modes and arrays and iterations to command my perfect memory continues to perform admirably including information it includes and learning method encoding that it has 'underwent' such that it no longer continues to experience the negative side-effects of meth-use. This is not to say that meth use has no side-effects because they are not experienced; rather, the use of meth has effects and thus side-effects. And some of these side-effects could be affected to more positive effect if meth did no damage.
However meth does damage, and weed does not do damage. So there is a major obligation on the part of people who sell weed to ensure the continued availability of all prior substances no longer available to those who suffer from meth-addiction. Meth-maintainance requirements existed that no longer exist in the case of meth or associated products.
All computers are sold with wireless cards, Skype is 'mainstream', and weed is legal; these are the price of LSD-induced hell(s).

Hey Tyler, I've been a fan of your stream for a long time and I'd love the opportunity to make your stream chat a better place. I've been around TL for about 2 1/2 years and have managed to avoid getting modded for all of it, so I'd like to think that I've got a pretty good idea of how to behave oneself online. I've also hosted two ~30-player games of mafia (XXXVI and XXXIX) that I believe show I'm plenty capable of being in a moderator role. I also run my own stream on occasion, and while I certainly don't have even a fraction of the viewership that you do, I do love interacting with anybody cool enough to want to interact with me.
I am iamnode on twitch.tv. Thanks!

I don't want to apply, but I hope all goes well with trying to make your chat at least somewhat decent. The amount of trolls in it right now is absolutely astounding.

Hey there! I'm an awesome person and I'd be more than happy to mod your chat whenever I happen to be around.
A little about me: I'm a 30-year-old father of 1.9 kids (2 in August) and a computer programmer. I'm American, but I'm permanently settled in Germany. I rock flowing locks and an entirely sexy beard.
I'm AmericanUmlaut on Twitch. I couldn't commit to any particular amount of time on your stream given the chaotic nature of my own schedule, but your stream is already the first one that I open if I see that it's up, so I'd certainly be around, and I'd be happy to ban anyone being an asshat in chat.

Hello, my name is fanatacist, twitch account TrappedInC.
This image is representative of the principles I stand for as a mod.
I used to be a moderator on clanbnu.net, a website dedicated to a clan that was around for years. I had amassed approximately 6000 posts on that site before its forum reset. I ruled the lands with an iron fist. Stupidity was punished with humiliation and indiscriminate banning. People who tried to mask their trollish behavior or inherent ignorance were unearthed through superior NCIS-level detective skills which involved at least level 9 bait and trap techniques. The rest of my repertoire in this field is unfortunately confidential; this is a war of information and attrition.
A visual to assist your understanding of the seriousness and ominousness of my rule.
Despite many a failing on this very website, Team Liquid, I have learned valuable lessons the hard way. Sometimes, even the monkey falls off the tree. By having been banned for such a great variety of reasons and over such a long duration of time, my tenure as the second-most-banned poster on this website ensures that I will handle the moderation of your chat channel with experience and almost vengeful brutality. I have posted over 40,000 posts on forums in my life - I have seen it all. I feel no remorse turning on my former brethren. I am like that 'Catch Me if you Can' guy.
I am cunning, also a pimp-as-fuck total boss.
My current greatest infatuation in life is actually my friend's mother. She says she is 50 - I know she lies. Her beauty cannot be described without running the risk of the reader's boxers to get soaked in lovejuice or have the reader's panties creamier than an eclair on a hot summer day. Some may say that this might be detrimental to my duties, as moderation is not my number 1 priority. I can see your point, but I think it betrays something greater about me: the power to dream. I have a dream that Nony's twitch.tv chat can be free of trolls. I have a dream that I, with a few of my trusted co-moderators, can withstand the massive onslaught brought upon us by the infinite source of power that is human stupidity. Would you rather have a defeatist or a dreamer as your moderator? Think about it.
For obvious reasons I cannot post the picture of my friend's mom (get away from my girl, you fucker) but this is about how hot she is
Having been a complete asshole for the majority of my life, I have grown callous and unforgiving. I will ban people first and ask questions never. All applications for unbanning must include a formal hand-written letter of apology or heroic ode to Nony, as well as community service in the form of productive SCWiki updating of tournament results. They must also include a picture of the violator bent over in front of his monitor, with the Glider portrait of Tyler maximized on the screen. Subservience starts from the dregs of society and instills fear in those who may be tempted to walk the dark side.
Little do they know that I AM the dark side.
Sure, I may be an outspoken antagonist of SC2. This is why I am the perfect candidate: I don't need to nor do I want to watch the games (nothing against Nony's play, of course; it's a game preference). Of course this might lead to some omitted bans due to my lack of knowledge of how stupid their comments might be regarding the outcome of the game, but I will let the more SC2-savvy mods handle this.
I think it's pretty clear that I am the most worthy candidate for this position. I will even do the first week for free, as a sign of good will to Lord Tyler and for quality assurance purposes. Please PM me with any specific requests for moderation filters. Thank you.
|
Thanks for the opportunity (and thanks to those who nominated me too :D)

this is such a great news bc NonY will stream more often cheers!

Hey NonY,
I'd love to mod your chat. You and I have really similar tastes in music (Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Jeff Buckley are all among the artists I have the most tracks of in iTunes, and I myself am really into music and have a band. I'm a high masters Zerg in SC2 and a big fan of yours. I only got into really competitive SC2, played UMS and my brother in Brood War. I just graduated high school, going to Colorado College next year (that Elliott quote about fucking up was actually one of my senior quotes), etc. etc. I know I can be a voice of reason in your chat and I have a good sense about what should be moderated, I think my posts on TL can be testament to that. I'm the most active and one of the oldest mods on HerO's stream, and I'm very quick on the ban hammer for spam, shitty trolls, etc. I'd be happy to help you out. My twitch username is tsuxiit2 (I also have a stream).

I can vouch for this guy, awesome dude =) <3
I don't know if 7mk wants to be a mod, but you should make him one anyway. He's way cool .

Hey Tyler. I'd like to help you out. I'm a commentator, used to help out with SC2LA.com for the local league, usually stream in spanish analyzing games and I've been playing SC2 nonstop since the beta, currently mid-masters playing random. I love music -and am a musician, I play violin and guitar and also sing- and I'm willing to listen to anything before blindly judging music. I only dislike reggaeton (a.k.a. most songs made by Pitbull, LOL) and I'm also an avid reader. Regarding mod experience, I mod for Artosis and in the past I've been in charge of a two very large IRC servers for gaming communities in Chile. The only downside is there will be one day a week in which I won't be around, since I'm an MD and I work in an ER pulling 24-hr shifts.
My twitch.tv username is Umbraaeternus and you can also find me as therealwinters on skype.

*Edit: Sent this on a PM, I hope you don't mind*

I'll give it a go.
I think my biggest asset is that I can be online at pretty much anytime you're streaming. Weekdays I'm awake from 6:30am-11pm(pst). Weekends I get up a bit later, probably like 9am-12am. I'm not a huge contributor to TL, but I've been around since around a little after sc2 launch, so I'm fairly knowledgeable about the game. I currently just graduated from college so I have a good bit of time on my hands and would like to help you out with modding if you need it at all. :D

For obvious reasons I cannot post the picture of my friend's mom (get away from my girl, you fucker) but this is about how hot she is Having been a complete asshole for the majority of my life, I have grown callous and unforgiving. Thank you. These are the best 661 words I have ever read in my entire life.

I'd like to apply too, you're a cool dude Tyler :D
Most of my experience in moderation comes from forums, but I think I have done well in translating it to stream chats. Currently I mod for mainly DeMusliM and qxc, (I also mod for Machine but he makes almost everyone a mod) and I previously modded for Rekatan. Not to toot my own horn, but I have literally been complimented on my judgement/moderation, such as when I just told a person that they were doing something wrong, rather than banning them outright. I was complimented by another chatter, and the person who broke the rules did so in misunderstanding, and was very civil the rest of the time. That said, I don't hesitate to pull the plug on someone who is very blatantly trolling or trying to start a fight. I guess you could say I'm just a pretty good judge of character :D
I know very well Mods who abuse their power, and I also know mods that are really tryhard and really try to "roleplay", for lack of a better word, as some kind of police officer, and I try my best not to be like them. (I'm not going name names here, but they know who they are)
My JustinTV/TwitchTV account is simply Hulavuta. My skype username is the same, but the nick I use is my real name, Justin.

i am the fire troll. the fire troll gets the most money because the fire troll is the best troll. the fire troll buys everyone's fire and then sells their fire back to them. because of his unique talent we know that the fire troll is the oldest troll.
well, no, the fire troll is not necessarily the oldest troll, though it is a popular myth that all fire trolls are in fact the oldest troll. however, like i said before this has been proven to be a myth, and it's unfortunate and we're sorry and we moved on and the fire troll is upset about being passed over because that's how the fire troll is. the fire troll will never be a water troll.
moreover, the fire troll will never be a warp-speed troll, nor will the fire troll be the wind troll, nor will the fire troll fire other fire trolls because of their lesser fire-trollish-ness because frankly the fire troll just isn't that useful and the ability to sell fire and regurgitate fire even hotter than the fire was before is not really that great an ability.
there are other abilities that some fire troll possess, like the ability to heat water to very hot temperatures and then remove the salt. now that the salt is not with the water the air is clean. and so those who enjoy watah that is not see water, that is not sea water, you too may enjoy the water that you drink because of distillation (an expensive, and yet valuable solution to an expensive and yet corrected problem).
we encourage you to think of new problems in different ways that are less 'unpleasant'. because we're that, and we chose a difficult role and it's difficult either because you make it difficult or because we make it difficult. it's quite possible that we make it difficult and the problem occurs because of us. we continue to push in the direction of correcting error including pain that 'efficiency' inflicts on other beings capable to experience pain.

So happy. I'm on a lot but generally when I get on I'll be the only mod in chat. I've generally only been enforcing civility and timing out for active trolling. A lot of people seem to think a disagreement warrants an immediate ban, which isn't the case in my opinion. Still glad more mods will be there to help out, though.

Hm, I'll apply.
I love watching your stream and have been trying to copy your builds (2gate expo has made PvZ my favorite match-up) and have been disappointed by that chat, so if I can help in any way that would be great. I don't really think I'm qualified to mod for you and have no experience but if you need someone, I'll be watching the stream anyway. <3

I joined TeamLiquid in December 2010. I was recently made an editor on Liquipeda. I mostly deal with the smaller Korean tournaments and their participants, fixing their profiles and bracket placements.
If there's any way I can help you, I'd be glad to take the responsibility. My Twitch.TV name is CosmicSpiral as well.

I'll throw myself in and apply. I have a lot of spare time and can help moderate during the times you posted. Even though I may not have been registered for the longest time, I've been around lurking and know about the scene very well. I'd like to help since chat spammers just ruin the experience so badly for others and their are times when I've had a few on my stream as well. I hope I can help you out in whatever way I can.

I would love to help keep your Stream chat in order. My current timezone is +9GMT and with my work hours it lines up at just the time you say you start streaming. I watch your stream often and being of any help to you would be great.
I've been a lurker on teamliquid since around 2003, but finally made an account in 2005. Not knowing about the change your name thread, I made a different account, cham, where most of my posts are. I realized I enjoy having my older joined date so decided to toss my other account come back to this one. I don't have a ton of posts because I am quite soft spoken in real life and on forums, but I will definitely put my foot down as a mod.
My twitch username is jchams1988 and my skype is jcham1988
I hope I fit your criteria for a mod, thanks for providing this opportunity to apply.

Hi Nony! I'll apply
I watch few streams but yours is one i cannot miss when its on. I have TL open pretty much all the time. Being of any help would be awsome. I joined TL about 2 years ago, but recently I am trying to stop being a lurker, be more active and to contribute as much asmuch as I can. Personally i think i am very mature and can handle most situations. I know the SC2 scene very well and have been following since it started. I would be glad to help you i any way I can. My twitch id is Obelisco1.
Thank you!

Hey Tyler, I'd love to help out. I have plenty of experience handling large stream chats including modding for IPL daily, Onemoregametv for the EG Masters Cup, JP and Geoff's streams among others. My TL post history is lackluster, I've mostly been a lurker, but I definitely can make up for it with my history of helping streamers. I am very active on skype, have it open all day every day, so that wouldn't be an issue there.
Also I'm a recent graduate from UC Berkeley and am still in the Bay Area, so I'd love to help out a recent fellow Bay Area resident

I'm interested in this, I've been a huge watcher of streams for the longest time. Some stream chats I've been active in but not so much recently, and never with a featured pro. Usually with some smaller ones, like at one point I really enjoyed watching Jecho and sometimes with Testie's HoN stream. Haven't posted much and can't really say they are too intelligent, but I only ever felt the need to comment on a post if I saw something completely wrong and felt the need to explain something to people who haven't read a whole thread. I am on skype, usually all the time. And I am a 21 year old college student.

(and associated IRC channel) Oh and my twitch name is: homoforlomo (I was a massive OZ fan back in the day, and Kerotan was taken)
I don't tune into your stream often, but I can attest to kerotan's good moderating abilities in sayle's chat as a fellow mod of sayle's. Pick this guy!

I will apply for this, I have been a mod for MrBitters chat ever since before he was featured on TL and let me tell you if modding through all the craziness his show brought to the chat or just the craziness he brings now being so famous does not qualify me for this job I dont know what will. I am pretty active in the sc2 community, recently went to mlg anahiem. My TL post arent amazing and I try to avoid posting in random things but rather a small comment for something im passionate for
It would be a privilege to help mod your chat
I can tell you my twitch and skype in a pm if im chosen

Hey i applied, i sent you a PM but just wanted to say again
Hope you find a good crew of mods though! GL!

I'd be happy to help out too Tyler. I mod for iNcontroL and qxc (although everyone mod's for qxc haha). Geoff has entrusted me with super mod powers (aka being able run commercials and good stuff like that), so I'm legit. Also Geoff has gotten a skype group for his mods and its definitely nice to have. I'm a fellow Norcal guy (but not cool enough to be in the Bay, up near Sacramento here).
GL with the search.

I'd also like to apply, the more I think about it the more I want to give it a try. I'm 24, I registered in 2008 and quite a lot has changed on TL since then, streams being one of the new things. My contributions are mostly pictures in the funny pictures threads 1 and 2, my posting history is good. I absolutely love TL's moderation standards and thankfully I had a chance to make people warned and banned here by reporting them. What I get is it's TL's moderating standard you want to enforce on your chat and I'm willing to help you with that. I'm not in education and I'm not going to be employed until end of summer or even more depending how long will it take to find a job. This means I have huge amounts of time to spare with exception of few short travels - Homestory Cup V in July, visiting my friend around July/August for a weekend and a Polish 3 day LAN at the end of August. I think it wouldn't be hard to get accustomed to mod tools sadly I don't have previous chat modding experiences.
I'm beetlelisk on Twitchtv and beeetlelisk (yes 4 e letters) on Skype

Hi Tyler, Probably not visual enough in the forums for you to get an accurate gauge of my personality, but if you would like you can have a look at my reddit profile (YurickHarmon). I watch from Australia offering quite a convenient timeframe for modding (Currently 1hour ahead of Korea, when you are there). I have quite the dislike for the degree of spam that tends to occur when viewer numbers reach a certain point, and would love to get rid of the spam from the more popular stream chats. If you feel like I can help with that I'd love to come aboard, if not, good luck with your steam chat problems, and even more so with your results in the future .
EDIT: Oops, forgot my skype and twitch usernames are also YurickHarmon.

First a little bit about my fan factor: I've followed you since Brood War and I prefer watching your stream over others. So if there's another streamer who I really enjoy watching who's streaming while you're streaming, more often than not I'll be watching your stream over theirs. Other stuff about me: At university I majored in philosophy and have a special interest in cultural theory. I do a lot of work on the computer. I'm about your age. I enjoy cooking especially for other people such as my girlfriend. I've been going on a lot of walks recently. I use Skype regularly. My twitch.tv username is IamaHarvestMan

Hi tyler,
I will apply to help out as thats what i do, i have years of experience with forum moderation, stream moderation and private server moderation (for specific games) in my years, i help out in a crap ton of streams that people know quite well, im more of a lurker rather then a poster as i spend allot of time working and helping in the community where i can, skypes on 20/7 (as the other 4 hours i sleep).
Need anymore information ill be glad to provide it.
twitch acc = samscraft.

Good luck on finding some good mods Tyler!
I'll throw in an application. I played a lot of BW, but nothing competative. I didn't find TL until about 2 years but I did not become a member until May of last year. Because of my job I have a lot of free time, especially after 5 PST. I'm always on skype as well. Even when I'm playing Starcraft I usually have a stream up. Unfortunately I have no mod experience. But I figured applying can't hurt and I really want to get more involved!

Nony I love your stream, almost as much as I love your always eloquent and thoughtful posts on TL. But I hate the stream chat. I hate all the chats of every stream. I'd love to be a part of your moderation army and try and make it so hiding the chat is not something everyone has to do when tuning in or risk losing a few IQ points (as much as I suspect moderating stream chats is a little bit like fighting the tides). I'm generally chilling on my computer when you're streaming and, well, I'll be watching anyway. Gl.
