AFAIK this is still allowed but I don't have personal knowledge on it.
Since Astro is a sponsor of MLG and their mixamps are connected to every PC, it makes sense that they would allow you to connect an mp3 player to the mixamp (and it then mixes your external mp3 player with the PC's sounds). Otherwise it's just a fancy audio extension cable.

I know I saw a bunch of comments like "wow axslav/incontrol lost to 'suppy' LOL @ THEM" only for you to show them it wasn't a fluke later on  Those stories are the best kind.

Nice read. And yeah, you just can't use the internet browser (youtube, etc) for music. iPods are fine. Suppy played some sick games at MLG, he was slaying some nerds for sure :D

Here I am, at 4AM in france, reading your pretty long blog, and enjoying it like crazy. Great writeup, and very nice thoughts on the competition.
Glad you enjoyed yourself at this MLG.
I was re-casting along with P&T and other people from the french community the MLG all week end long from 2AM till 9 or 10am and it was hard to get a glimpse of what was going on in open bracket. It always is.
Saw the CSL sign on main stream though !
Anyways, still looks like a great place to be for a Starcraft2 gamer ! Hope I can get there in person someday !
