Along with applying to medical school... and working 40 hours a week... and trying to stay in shape, and eat right, and play more tennis...
So many things to do, seems like so little time. I remember I used to think it was funny when people would tell me they didn't have "time" for something. What do you mean you don't have time? Just freaking do it!
Yeah, I'm not having enough "time" for SC2. I took a break after reaching master Zerg in season 4, and came back in Season 6 with a decision to switch to Terran. After re-establishing my MMR, I placed right into diamond league. I was hoping for a little lower so I would have time to actually learn the race, but apparently my mechanics allowed me to play Terran with absolutely 0 knowledge of WTF I was doing.
My build orders felt like this:

Appropriate.. since i'm somewhat of a scientist
Despite not having a lot of time at my disposal to play recently, I've climbed the ladder and I'm now flirting with master MMR - playing mostly mid-high master players on ladder, I've seem to have skipped over the low masters entirely. Are they just less active than the high masters? Or is Blizzard out to get me?
I played a few games last night and went 2-2 against some pretty good players. I decided to play a few more. Bad idea, I lost three in a row and went to bed frustrated. I logged in today to remedy that and lost three more. Okay, now the streak is down to 6 losses. Sweet.
Frustrated, I kept playing and managed to win two in a row against the same zerg player. Awesome.
Then I ran into a top 8 zerg player who absolutely destroyed me. I felt like I had no idea what the hell I was doing, he ran 7 million banelings into my base, (he was on 3 base) and smashed everything I had. My 3 tanks stood no chance.
So I ended up today with 2 wins and 6 losses. (I also lagged out of a game (thanks BNET)) and so lost that one in the streak as well.
While I'm concerned that I won't hop into master league tomorrow like I'd hoped, I guess overall I'm improving as a terran player. I'm playing top 8 masters, and I know I'm not at that level. It's just worrisome that I may not get my promotion (I think I probably belong in low masters) because of my huge loss streak to some top 30 master players.
Damn you blizzard and your silly matchmaking system! But I'm going to kick ass in season 8, so lets get it started!
Also, STBomber is the man. I'm going to watch his stream for the rest of the night and become GOSU.
Thanks all for reading, and good luck in season 8!
