SO after taking a small break from Starcraft 2 to slay demons in Diablo 3, I am ready to return refreshed and ready to learn, but there is one HUGE problem my Steelseries Sensi left clicker tore up due to mass amounts of clicking on Diablo 3, it still clicks but it is really "stiff" it is like I am pressing my finger down on my computer desk, so uncomfortable and it makes it so hard to play believe it or not, so I am either going to return it and get my money back or try and find a cheaper mouse that has good durability and is very good for starcraft so that is where I need your help TL! should I return it and get cash back and buy a new mouse and if so WHAT mouse? or should I just return it for a new one, because I am not going to lie it has been a great mouse for Starcraft and I am a huge fan of Steelseries but if I can find a cheaper more durable one I will defiantly consider getting it, Thanks guys! <3

hey man great that your getting a new mouse... my personal favorit is the African pygmy mouse and though they are not sold in the states they are very easy to obtain if you travel heres some info on them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Pygmy_Mouse

If you like it so much why not just get the Sensei Raw?

It's essentially a sensei without the bells and whistles.

logitech m100. white is sexier but impossible to find. m110 is inferior.

I dont remember if the sensei is the smaller or bigger one.. i have the kana, which is in the middle and it was a pretty significant upgrade from the m100. On the other hand the logitech is like $10 while the kana is around $60, so..

but if you're looking for cheap and durable, use that.

I'm not really sure exactly what you want from a mouse but this thread is a good starting place to figuring out what you'd like.

I just want something that will be very durable, I love my sensei but it is really made to look "pretty" and that is something I don't care about at this point in time, so if I am able to find something cheaper and that will last longer, I would defiantly go with it.

I'm not sure about its durability since I've only had it for a few months, but the Razer Abyssus is only $30 and a great mouse. Only 3 buttons though. I believe the Sensei has 7 or 9 correct?

Yeah, I'd go for the Abyssus. It's currently about $30 on Amazon. Maybe you live near a MicroCenter or Fry's or a good Best Buy and can try it out in advance?

I always tell this to people, but I think mouse comfort is very user-specific
The posture and shape of your hand, what you're using your mouse for, the weight of the mouse, etc are all things very specific to you
I'd recommend going to an electronics store and trying out the feel of various mice before buying

I personally use a logitech mouse (some laser mouse) that I've been perfectly content with for 2 years, so try not to get distracted by the big gaming mice brands
You can type "StarCraft" with just your left hand.

I believe the Sensei is based on the old Intellimouse shape? So the Deathadder might be better for you instead of the Abyssus, which is smaller. I'm also a Razer fan. That being said, I wouldn't mind a Sensei Raw. Everything good about the Sensei without the ridiculous color adjusting and LED screen on the bottom.

i got the roccat kova[+] a few months back and ive been enjoying every bit of it. its slim, got 5 customizable buttons and fits both right and lefites, the weight is light but heavy enough to give the proper resistance. goes for like 50$ on amazon, think retailprice was around 100$ when i bought it. g400 g500 are probably your best choices. Hell my mx500 still works... Why i bought the new ones ? Simply because i got bored of the old skins and to support somewhat logitech

Kova seems good too but not a lot of ppl i know bought it, so not a lot of reviews. Maybe the lack of news about this mouse isn't a bad thing ? Meaning ppl aren't complaining :p I dunno like the foks told you, try them if you can to see if they fit with your hand.

The Razer Deathadder is the best mouse I've ever owned. It's about $50, but it's very durable and a nice size without silly bells and whistles. That would be my recommendation.
