Man TT1 you brought back so many memories! I'm 32 myself and have been playing since vanilla sc launch. I remember hanging out in channel clan -x17 all day long! I was HaVoC~LiZaRD and DaZeD~HaVoC. I remember playing against people like {88}Testie and {88}incontrol even back when we were just goofing around and learning the game. I do miss those times! I remember seeing X'ds~Grrr..... and Zelius always at the top of ladder. And wishing so bad I was a member of X'ds~. Those were the good old days and I really miss them....

A surprising amount of stuff sounded familiar, probably thanks to old rekrul blogs. Unsurprisingly, since I didn't play bw then, only around half or less of the players are IDs I've heard of at all. Not enough publicity for the gosus of old

Hmmm, i looked for a more complimenting picture of sVEN. (I remember a pic - from The Gathering i think - where he looked like such a baws & player. He has fresh style in that pic) but i ended up finding an interview with him instead.

The best times during BW was Clanbase for me and the WGT Nation Wars (when everyone was really active).

I'll never forget the first two WCGs I went too as well in 03 and 04. It was great to play your friends online but even better to meet and play with them IRL.

And for the Aussies who are old enough to remember, playing games on the Aus-1 server was great too.

Oh, and the always dysfunctional Team USA. The selection dramas for them were always hilarious (I think ilnp to this day would say 1 hatch lurkers is the best way to play ZvT).
