After four days of playing diablo3 at very intense level, my arm felt really destroyed, I've never felt this in my 10+ years of gaming day in and out, but I guess everything has it's time coming, at the current state I am unable to bend my right arm and my ring and little finger feels numb, which makes gaming very uncomfortable and painfully. I've done some searching around and it's most likely cubital tunnel syndrome.
this is caused by bending the arm too much and pressuring the nerve, so I'd just want to say that don't bend your arms when gaming, try to keep them straight as much as possible and take breaks often to relax, I've done my mistake and I have the toll to take, hopefully It will cure itself and not get worse.
for the streaming part, I will still be streaming from time to time with slow farming, the current status is d3 inferno act3 finished, I will show some methods of farming, but not to intensive like boss killing until my arm is cured, this problem will make starcraft 2 unplayable in ladder, dota2 might occur but it won't be the same.

this is why you don't play for four days straight take breaks, do exercise

I exercise 4 days a week and I'm well built, this was not caused by lack of exercise, only over pressuring the ulnar nerve.

This is all about position, but yeah, after days of gaming on such a clickfest as diablo, even the strongest fappers will feel the pain

1-0 gg no re.
I feel for you.

My nightmares involve having my thumbs cleaved off my paper cutters.

I have a lot of weakness in my hands from gaming for so long. I've been stretching for awhile now and it really really helps.

Happened to me a year and a half ago. Numbness in mostly pinkie, pain along the lower arm up until the elbow, elbow being very sore and stiff.
Can't say that it's gone, but just by correcting my gaming posture and keeping my wrists warm at all times I don't really suffer from it anymore. Even after tens of hours of diablo :>
Also, rest when it hurts is awsm.

See a doctor and stop playing until it stops hurting, or it will get worse. Im recovering from carpal tunnel right now I got about a month ago, if you catch it early you should be good enough to play in 2-3 weeks, if not it will be months of pain, and if it gets bad enough, years.
Its not bending your arms, keeping them straight is bad for you, its having poor ergonomics on the computer so there's too much pressure on your nerve.

So what do you mean by keeping them straight as,possible? Do you mean like a zombie?
|
stop playing? inferno diablo down, almost had a stroke too. btw guys dont worry =) its fine now, just needed to keep it straight for a couple of days
