I have 4 months of holiday and I'll be damned if I sit here for all 4 months doing nothing. [...] I've been sitting here at my computer every night just wondering what the fuck I'm supposed to do I don't know what this blog post wants to achieve. Sometimes someone just wants you to listen and not to advise. So if you don't want my point of view just ignore my post. I really would recommend you to search for a holiday job where you just do something with your hands and other people instead of brain-work. I had some similar situation when I finished school and I just didn't know what to study. I decided to do my civilian service and this was really a bless for my personality and self progress. It can be really satisfying to work hard and see what you've done. When you are at school the society tells you what you have to do but after this suddenly the society doesn't care anymore. So you have to find a passion yourself because otherwise you just feel a big hole inside your life and by sitting in your room all day long this would not bring you any further. Also I think just playing piano or guitar instead of video games would not fulfill your life with happiness. If you want to have a change you have to do something bigger then that. You just seem like a person without real determination. Pick a hobby/game you really like and invest real time there. Don't attention whore and waste your time without a real goal or you won't get further in life. Still good luck to you in the future. | ||

Collossi are a boring 1a no-micro unit that causes the matchups with P in them to congregate around collossi deathballs. Whereas the reaver, with its unique characteristics, caused it to be a unit whose ability to do damage scaled very highly with the micromanagement and multitasking capabilities of the player, leading to some interesting dynamics in all of the P matchups. The Collossus is, to be quite honest, one of the worst units in SC2 [possibly the worst] from the standpoint of designing an interesting competitive game. | ||

I only play protoss. I understood the reasoning behind them at least, with new mechanics, lurkers and scourge are obsolete, lurker will be useless because protoss have a reasonable seige unit in collosi and storm can really rofl over it now. I was mad with stalker as there is absolutely no point in replacing it. Dragoon did exactly the same role as stalker... what was the point? wat. | ||

That's when I almost stopped any gaming, and started improving in other, much more creative fields. Try drawing, if music doesn't do you justice. (I am constantly switching between those two) Also, korean is FUN, don't stop learning it, once you have started. Still, I feel like playing from time to time is ok, you just need to do it rarely so you feel much more fun when you suddenly let yourself to spend some time on playing games. Also, make some interesting friends that are doing something with their lives (i.e. - drawing, music, theater, sport, writing et cetera), and try to learn from them how to live YOUR live.
